I was just amazed at how fast this girl's app was done.she told me her husband hired a lawyer and canada and he applied everything from there and after 4 months...done lol

Not running away from it. As I said before, bottle of Champagne is in the fridge but we ain't celebrating till we get the passport back with a nice pretty sticker that says CANADA on it.

You guys are all in Montreal. I am in Calgary... You should not be upset come on ... I love Montreal I went once for a full day, went to Adonis and what's that fruit cocktail and argili place called?

I went to old Montreal... It was one good day.

I just ordered my notes on Friday March 14th because that marks the one year from sponsorship approval and it is the due date on my application.

My ecas still says, application received, no "in process" status yet! I think I wont see any updated before the status changes!
Do you guys know anybody who got significant improvement with the ecase status remaining the same?
Do you think it makes any difference if i check under my name or my wife's name?

Chris I think it all depends but Candude went in process and few days later it was decision made and two weeks later he got passport request.

So far only me and TSI as far as I know have in Process ecas but everyone else is application received. I don't think that ecas is reliable but sometimes it gives you an idea.

I don't think it is reliable a lot..because when natti got her passport request, I asked her about her ecas and she said it was still in process even after the ppr

Awesome lebcan, you will be my neighbor. I barely go to Edmonton. We went on a girl's trip once and went to Phoenicia, a lebanese restaurant; we got to watch a wedding - they even had a belly dancer (which I dont really enjoy) oh well it was a free show.

I went to calgary in the summer on our way back from banff.
we went to the stampede..it was fun
the buildings and roads in calgary remind me more of lebanon than Edmonton. Edmonton is soo different

I will be going next week to apply for a visit visa, hopefully it will work well. I have been to Canada before so nchalla ma ykoun fi problem.
I wanted to ask you guys and especially ARAB 21 , do you have any idea if the lebanese passport can be mailed from canada here and back. I mean if we do go and we get PPR, can we mail back to Lebanon for visa stamping or we have to come back personally??

We intend on doing that. you can have a power of attorny i think. there is a ford that you must fill out. a relative of my wife will take the passport in and retrieve it.

I applied today and will wait for the result and we will go from there. After how many days did they get back to you with the answer for ur visit visa?

My husband submitted his passport today and it now finally says Decision made, after 1 week. He had a 42$ charge and was told he would receive a text msg in one week max.

Hi guys,

One quick question. I have been reading on these forums, you know I'm obsessed as you could probably tell. One thing that drew my attention that some mentioned that Quebec has a separate department for processing applications. They mentioned usually it takes about a month from when ecas changes to "in process" to PPR. Do you guys know that really Quebec is different?

I know candude and few others are going to Montreal. I guess Natti is not going to Montreal right?
