Hello All,

Just got my nomination today!!
The nomination was issued on Feb. 24th and signed on March 3th.

Just one question... On my nomination is saying the following:

"Please note this nominations is not valid for Express Entry."

Does anyone know why? I was hoping to apply on EE. :'(

Which NOC code is your job?

NOC A.
It seems that you have to be previous registered on EE to be eligible...
Now I have to keep on the regular stream...

Which means you cannot apply for the permanent residency under EE?
On the website it says that you can either apply for EE before of after nomination...
This is so confusing now!

Hello,

Hopefully someone will be able to help me.
I just got nominated on BC PNP, and I already have a OWP, and it is valid until 2016, however, my wife is with a study permit and I would like to change her status to have a OWP. PNP office won't give me a support letter to my wife, and they told me to go through CIC to get one.

Accordantly to the link bellow, once I am on NOC A, I can just ask for a OWP to my wife, is that correct?

Only if you have your profile on EE before you got nominated!
That is what I understood!

I went to submit my addendum yesterday. I asked to speak with an advisor. After discussing other personal matters, I asked her BCPNP policy for those who where not nominated under EE.
She said that anyone who was nominated after 1st of January who does not belong to the EE stream but is eligible for EE should complete the Addendum and contact the BCPNP. The issued nomination will then be reconsidered under EE stream and reissued. A friend told me this worked for someone he knew and that the nomination was reissued 3 days later.
My advise, complete the addendum amd go to BCPNP in person. Ask for an advisor and get it sorted out.

I do not have an advisor and I have never used one. Neither have I ever used an immigration lawyer. BCPNP have advisors on staff at the office at Vancouver. These advisors are under obligation to sit down with you and answer your questions correctfully and to the best of their ability. It is your right to ask to speak to one (just make sure you do a little homework before going there, so you do not ask them to explain their entire website, that will probably piss the person off). Walk up to the receptionist and say "Hi, please I would like to speak to an advisor".
