When your work permit going to be expired ?
if you have valid work permit why don't apply online to extend your work permit..........my opinion to you apply online if you feel insecure to go at Border.

Hi my friend, I recieved the support letter last week of feb. It was included with the mail saying my application was approved by the bc pnp. My work permit expired last October but continue to work as implied status. As they rejected my first work permit extionsion due to lack of support letter, I'm not working atm. Then my nomination comes in. Is it possible for me to go to boarder even if my visa is expired? Any advice? Thanks my friend

Hi, If you have a work permit support letter, you then apply for an extension online...Once you have the permit, you can apply to renew your entry visa...you cant enter canada if you dont have entry visa, even if you have a support letter..However, there are country that entry visa can be issued at the port of entry...but if you country is not included of the lucky ones...then work permit must be applied first, then the entry visa, if you wish to go outside canada and come back...but for the purpose only to get a work permit, rather just apply online...than going out of canada ..

Thanks for the great advice, I'll just take the online application. Also my AOR is 39**, submitted 2nd week of July, thanks and goodluck to our applications!!

Hello All,

Just got my nomination today!!
The nomination was issued on Feb. 24th and signed on March 3th.

Just one question... On my nomination is saying the following:

"Please note this nominations is not valid for Express Entry."

Does anyone know why? I was hoping to apply on EE. :'(

Now is the CIC part is confused me. I dont know what type of work permit I need to apply?
On the IM5710 form:
- Co-op Work Permit (definitely not)
- Labour Market Opinion Stream (?)
- Exemption from Labour Market Opinion. (?)
- Live-in Caregiver Program (definitely not)
- Open Work Permit (?)
- Other (Think about this one, but what is the name for it, if its other?)
- Post Graduation Work Permit (definitely not)

I believe that you need a Open Work Permit.
You are on the post graduate stream, right?

Nope..I havent finish my school yet.
The idea of this PNP is..so i can work full time for them and cancel my student visa.
I already have my degree back in 2008

Oh no..I had my degree back on 2008 when I was in India. I am kinda no maden i guess.
I moved from one country to another, until I reach Canada and I want to settle down in here.
