I honestly can't believe it. My flights are booked home for 3 weeks time I thought it would be months. They asked for information yesterday I provided it today and got an instant approval!

Congratulations on your success.

I am also on the same boat. My file # SO-14-55**. AOR Sept 08, 2015. I do not know how long is it going to take. I have to wait for ECA from WES to build an EE profile. Can you share any special point, which gave you the advantage of getting the nomination so early. I also belong to the skilled A categories.
Any suggestions is welcome.

CanadaPC - old not express (i was going through the motions to get the EE happening but then i got the approval today!)

sjt - nothing special at all i have no idea why it went through so quickly. The submission was spot on the only request they had from me was for my current status and some pay slips.

Did you get the email from your advisor first before the decision?

CanadaPC - Yeah he gave an email to request the info, which i sent instantly and he mentioned that they would look at finalising it soon so that was it I thought it was still going ot be months but nope.

Aha. I talked to a consultant, she said that once entering the pool you can delete your profile and apply for the old stream.

Applicants who received nomination under EE: did you get work permit support letter, if needed? Do they even issue them for the purpose of work permit?

Poeple who did FLAGPOLING, at the border in Vancouver, did the officers ask you for the nomination certificate, or just wok permit support letter would be fine to get a new work permit?
Also does the LOE have to be indeterminate or like a contract for a year or two?
