Congratulations bro! May I know what reason did u provide for the urgency?

it was for a job travel. my current passport wouldn't allow me to visit it visa free and the wait times were long, BUT the last time I called they said my urgent processing request is still in consideration, so I highly doubt it had any effects.

I feel your pain its really piss you off most peaple got they oath already not you. Were on the same boat me my LPP complete since january 19 been waiting . Already requested webform ,MP etc... i just had to wait they told me.

I feel it is unfair, people who applied in March 2024 are waiting for ceremony and some of us still struck with BG & LPP.

IRCC is known for this. New ones get priority over older ones.

Just finished our interview. "It's a random selection of individuals who apply."

Interestingly enough, I submitted my fingerprints on May 25th, he mentioned that has not been updated yet. I don't even know if calling RCMP would give us any info.

On another note, magically our language and physical presence was updated on the 14th (visible 18th), so I do believe the MP thing helps.

Hi, I applied for a family citizenship application (2 applicants). Applicant 1's status: Background check in progress since August 2023. Applicant 2's status: Everything completed except the oath - not started.
My question is, will applicant 2 receive the oath ceremony date before applicant 1, or does IRCC hold applicant 2 until applicant 1 clears all requirements?
