August 2021 - Citizenship Applicants

Hello everyone,
I'm an applicant from Calgary, AB and given below is my timeline:
Application submitted: August 21, 2021- ONLINE
AOR: November 10, 2021
BG completed: April 29,2022
Test completed: May 21, 2022
Physical presence, language and prohibitions completed: June 22nd, 2022
Oath ceremony: Not started.

It's been over a month for me and I still haven't received the oath invite. Is there anyone else with a similar timeline?

Hi,

I am an online applicant, I sent my application in August last year, AOR was in October 2021. I ordered Notes twice and they haven’t even started to begin processing my application. It’s been more than 12 months and they did nothing.

In the eligibility section of the Notes they put a deadline that is due October 2022. Does anybody find a correlation between the deadlines they put in the Notes and actual dates when they received their test invites? (I am hoping I’ll get the invite at least in October 2022)

I have similar timeline but seems that my app's progress isn't that bad compared to your's

This morning I logged on and right at the top it said Updated August 22.

However everything else is the same throughout the application.

My wife and I applied together (different applications, same envelope) and all our updates so far have been happening together. But I logged in to her account today and it says the last update was June 29, which is when all of our fields except ceremony were set to complete.

Any idea what's going on?

Probably Oath date will be scheduled in the next 24 hours. Fingers crossed.

Ceremony marked complete on Aug 19, 2022 and Application closed as well. Updated in tracker today (since 19th was a Friday). Timeline in signature. Last bit of receiving the certificate remains. As for SO's application, her Oath was a couple of days after mine, so hoping for an update this week for that.

It's called ghost update - means some background changes happened to your file. Highly expected you should get ceremony invite soon.... keep fingers crossed.

Same here. Will be completing 1 year in a few days with only Test and BG completed since Feb. I'm sure it will eventually get processed but the wait is frustrating. It's a huge block to any long term planning.
