You don't have to wait 24 hours before trying again, just create multiple accounts and keep trying until you get it right.
That's what I did, I think I tried with 5 or 6 accounts (different usernames but same password and email address to remember them).

When the last combination worked, I remembered what I did for it to work, I deleted that account and recreated the same steps that worked with my first (regular) account.

Having the same issue to link my wife's application in MyCiC still no luck tried every information.

But the ECAS is updated and showing " 3. We started processing your application October 5, 2016."

Hopefully soon we get update and can link myCIC easily.

we are on the same situation, we are even on the same timeline, but your number 3 is my number 2 in eCAS under Sponsorship which I only have 2 lines, and under Permanent Residence Application, I only have 2 lines, too, and it says, "Medical results have been received." After that no updates or what not. Kinda hard to wait from eCAS that's why am very eager to have an active myCIC account. I don't even know what are the updates means.:( anyway, we are just almost 2 months after we submitted our application, and I know we are much excited to see updates from time to time, which we can't hide. Hopefully we will receive updates after the holiday! Good luck to all of us! Thanks Son-of-A-Gun and Nasser558 for all the info!:) keep posting updates...

No AOR2 yet from ND VO. File transferd on 30 September. Ecas still show in process with two lines.

I've tried both (1 & 2) with the same info and still no luck! :( Now, I need to wait 24hrs before I can try again. This so frustrating but I know I will get it right.. :)
Do not use the sponsors UCI, use the principal applicant UCI number and application file number......when you get to the part of putting your city of origin, don't type in the city, just tap on the space bar that's all. For number of applicants put 2....fill in every other thing, it will work.

Thanks for helping me out but still no luck, I really don't know what's wrong, I followed your suggestions and it's even not working for me. ??? ??? ??? Will try again, later...:)

Happy Thanksgiving to you, too! Looking forward to celebrate it too with our loved ones. We have the same timeline and this is the latest I got from eCAs, "Medical results has been received", no luck on myCIC yet, what about yours? :D :D :D

Still no SA, but I'm happy because I can see on both myCIC and ECAS that my husband's file (the PA) is in process (as of Oct 3rd) :)
It must be really frustrating not to be able to access myCIC but it really doesn't give any extra information. I actually find ECAS more useful because it has the dates. Whereas myCIC only says in process but not from what date. Although on myCIC it does say medical results passed whereas on ECAS it just says received.
I really don't understand why they have the two systems running in parallel! Just frustrating for people!

What does ECAS stands for and where can I find my own UCI number. I only received my hubby's UCI.
I would like to check and see if any progress has been made. Thank you all.

Hi Everyone

My question is:
Is there any benefit of creating a GCKey account and linking your application to it ? Do you get any different updates or details update with that ?

As per CIC website...GC key account will give better update on your file v/s e-cas.

If any documents will be required by CIC...than it can be updated via GC key account quickly.

Yes, the myCIC account does show a lot more detail about your account status.

It's OK, keep trying and like I said make sure all the information you fill in are those of the principal applicant and not the sponsors. Good luck

There are lots of May applicant got their PPR.
And that means approx. 4-5months processing time.
So let us expect late December or early January next year :)

Hi Claudi12,
ECAS = Electronic client application status (or at least that's what I'm assuming)
I'm the sponsor and I use the UCI to login, but for my husband (PA) I need to use the application number. Good luck :)

Hi everyone, just wanna ask if ever VO will ask for my passport and I will give a new one, will it going to create any problems? My passport will expire in 2018 of May which was submitted with my application and I have decided to renew it. Any thoughts? Thank you!
