Guys,

Today in morning i received email from CIC. It had 2 letters: one asking to send updated form , but other letter says that they will be returning my application as i had old forms.
i believe other applicants also received similar letters. Do they actually return your application ???

Please let me know.

Hi .. Yes, they did email me 2 letters as well , one of which stated "they will return the application" but don't worry. They did not return my application. See the other document and Just mail the updated forms they need. You should be good.

Just make sure to deliver to them the new form within 45 days and I think there would not be any problem. If you have to re-send only one updated form .

I guess that CIC process our applications is according to nationality , it's not by sequence!! I know how you feel, just be patient with them!!

So far only one person who was requested the new form has received SA as far as I can see.

Yes only one,but I think it depends on the case, visa office and officer who is working on app. Hope this expectation will end soon

I'm new here, but I've been reading the August updates for a couple of weeks and thought it would be nice to be part of the forum as well.

My timeline:
Sent the application: 22/08/2015
Application received: 25/08/2015
Visa office: Sao Paulo
SA: TODAY!! ;D

I dont remember the exactly date of the medical exam, but it was in March, I think.

I'm pretty sure I used the updated forms, because I decided to print new ones last minute (so lucky!), since I had lots of things completed a couple of months before I actually sent it (I had to wait the translations to send it all together).

So my husband and I did everything again using the new forms, just to be in the safe side. I guess it helped?

I sent my application with the updated imm 1344 form on August 3 and had it sent back to me asking for updated forms. So I sent it back with a letter telling them that all of the forms are up-to-date. Let's see what they do now. I think it's just luck. They seem to be very disorganized or just don't check things as well as they should. Good luck to all.

I am also new to the forum, although I have been reading it for a couple of weeks. This forum is really very useful, and I wish I would have known about it since the beginning when we started preparing our application. We had many questions. Well, any way, we sent our application on August 6, and like others, we also got a request to send an August form, which we did in early September.

New to the forum too! also submitted my application August 6, got a request to resend the form on September 4 and got it submitted by the next week, 12th of Sept! Havnt heard anything since then. Crossing my fingers.
