just got our PPR from CPP-O this morning via e-mail. please update the spreadsheet =)

best of luck to the rest of august!

My stage 1 approval was done 4 month ago. The file is now at Singapore VO. I received an e-mail from Visa Office asking to sent them my spouse's notarized copy of her Birth Certificate (within 60 days). This is the only item they are asking for to review the application documents.

What does it mean? Does it mean that a Visa Officer has opened the file and as soon as they receive the above document they will start reviewing the file further? my spouse's Medical expires in June.

Hey finnnaaalllllyyyyyyyyyy I got the PPR :D :D :D

looks like NDVO is taking the augustees seriously now ;-)

Hopefully you will also get the good news soon now.

All the best!

Thanks Everyone for all the support... :-)

Congrats!! :)
What's your time line like?

Well I applied last August from inland without sending my medical.
Got the 1st stage approval week and half ago, and I also applied for a temp work permit as well as permanent residency, and that came in the post last week.
So that means I can work while they finish the 2nd stage. (medical and police check etc)

All is well in the world!!!

The Vancouver VO just called me and scheduled my appointment to land at their office this Thursday! =)

So excited! =D

Thanks! The guy was really nice when he called to set everything up and I was super surprised to find out that the person who calls to confirm the appointment is the actual person you'll be meeting with. I was seriously floored that someone who works for CIC personally called me and was that helpful.

Anyway, of course I have no worries about landing now because he reassured me that I have everything I need and that it shouldn't take very long at all. He even gave me directions and some advice on where to park in order to save money. We aren't driving lol but it was a nice gesture!

Good news!!!!

I recieved my COPR today!!!!

I'm visa exempt so no passport request.

Who can change it on the August spreadsheet?

I don't know when exactly I will fly to Canada. Probably right after March 18. On march 18 my mother will celebrate her 60th birthday so I want to stay in the Netherlands for that.

Pooh...I'm so excited!!!!!

Congratulations to evertybody who also got their COPR or passport request, and I wish everybody else who's still waiting for it good luck!!

Of course I will still be hanging around on the forum to try to help others with everything.
