Congratulations! I am happy for you. You are lucky that your visa office is in Santo domingo.

Many applicants in this forum who applied at the same time you did, will not see their loved one for another year because of the processing time in their locations. So, say a little prayer for them too.

hope that this gives people more hope as i only got my PPR 6 days ago. waiting for the mail this week will be an anxious one!

What's your time line like?

Hey... sorry for the late reply, i am just excited

So i submitted the app in August 3rd week 2012 and got the PP request in October around 18th or 19th. I got the PR after almost 4 months of pp submission on 3rd week of Feb.

Well, what can you do when there are no news? : ???

I REALLY need my PR by July/August. Then it's going to be the max of 15 months from my medical exam, and I really need them to extend my medical instead of having me re-do it... because I'm pregnant ;D I want the baby to be born in Canada, I want to be with my husband and his family during this process!

My greatest paranoia right now is that they'll ask me to re-do the medicals If they do, I can't do them until after the baby is born!

Congratulations! I'm happy for you!!!!!

I recieved my COPR last week. My boyfriend will first come here to the Netherlands and then we are going to Canada together. This is because I'm taking my pet parrot and there's a lot to take care of for this little feathered friend too. But we have everything sorted out. I'm really looking forward to it.

Here is breakdown of events:

August 22, 2012 - Confirmation of Application of Sponsorship (e-mail)
October 5, 2012 - Eligible to Sponsor (mail / letter) also included in the letter - - - > the Application has been forwarded to a visa office abroad for further processing.

and that's it. No other updates up until now. I'm becoming really anxious because there's no e-mail or mail from the Embassy of Canada in the Philippines. I don't know what to do. I'm very worried if there is something wrong about our application.

We wanted to schedule and appointment with the office but we dont know how. I'm becoming more and more anxious after reading that a lot has already been receiving their approval and requests while we don't even have an update.

Also, I can't even see our application in E-CAS. I called the call centre and they told me that I should wait for my husband's UCI or APPLICATION # to be able to use E-CAS. Even though I have a UCI and APPLICATION # of my own I cant even login to E-CAS.

I'm so confused. I've had a long period of sleepless nights because I have been thinking about this.
