We have been checking our spam folder as well lately.


I hope it all goes smooth for August! I am quite happy CIC is working on August 13th now but I'm also anxious because some of my September buddies are getting AOR and me..nada! sniff

Our application was received on August 31st (or at least that's what tracking on the internet showed), so i know it's not our turn yet necessarily for AOR (from Mississauga office) but i'm also worried that some September applicants already received AORs, and some August's ones nothing yet :-\

do not worry there are still a few for the very last of July still waiting....it won't be long!!!

Hello fellow bachmates, I would like to ask if there is somebody here who is going to Quebec particularly Montreal,it is about the filing of Undertaking and CSQ,how long does it take for it to be released and approve?

I am from Montreal and I just recieved the CSQ for my wife this week actually. Here is my timeline: application for the CSQ recieved by Immigration Quebec on September 12th, 2012. CSQ issued on October 10th, 2012 and recieved by me (regular mail) on the 15th of October. There is a separate thread for CSQ in Family Sponsorship where folks like us share their experiences. Hello Everyone... I'm trying to bring my husband in from nigeria... application was received August 27 and sponsorship approval letter was sent October 10th... am soo exited and this just means am closer everyday to being with hubby!
Does anyone have an idea what the time frame is to get the interview date?

Hi everyone, I've been a long time lurker. Our application was received on Aug 31st and yesterday we received spousal approval!!! Never received an AOR and our spousal approval was sent via mail. Good luck everyone.

It can be either. Some people receive an email and others get it in the mail. It's a coin toss.

I don't think anyone has ever received an AOR by mail....always if you get one the AOR is email!

AOR came through email on aug 13 and I checked the website it says decision made and that a letter was sent out on aug 15 but haven't gotten anything yet.

you should call and ask them - they can confirm over the phone that you have been approved, and since it's 2 months since the approval, they can resend the letter for you. Most likely it is a approval of sponsorship and your file has been transferred to your VO, but it would be good to know of course!

makes sense then! nothing to do but wait until you get the letter - it should come soon. Sometimes it comes by email ( although ecas always says that a letter has been sent), check the spam folder as well - if it's not there, then it's coming by post, I imagine it will come next week depending where you live (in or out in Canada).
