They are working on applications received on August 13th ! Finally a good 2 weeks jump!

Yay good news, I knew this would be a good week for everyone! Maybe this means that us stuck around the 13th have already gotten ours approved but it's just in the mail, it can take FOREVER to get letters so maybe that's why were still waiting.

Just found this forum to ease my nerves- but I'm not it's helping seeing as I seem to be behind everyone here!

My application was received 3-Aug but there has been no word as yet. I find it a bit confusing that the website states it is working on 13-Aug yet dates later than that have been completed!

About AOR- have most people had these by e-mail? I am holding out hope that it is arriving by post but I can't see anyone that has received theirs in that way.

One last thing- how do I go about adding dates to my profile?

Welcome! And don't worry, you aren't that far behind!

The CIC is a confusing place, even though it says that day on their website, things never seem to actually go in any sort of order. Don't worry too much about the dates they post on there, they're useful, but they aren't reliable.

Not everyone gets an AOR, but those who do get it by email or by post, there's no way to find out which unfortunately.

You can add those dates to your profile after you get more posts, I think the number is 10 so you aren't that far off.

Have you checked your junk email? Lots of people have missed OARs and Approvals that way.

We have been checking our spam folder as well lately.


I hope it all goes smooth for August! I am quite happy CIC is working on August 13th now but I'm also anxious because some of my September buddies are getting AOR and me..nada! sniff

Thanks Louie- my visa office is London.

No AOR as yet, so don't worry too much Lunas- the dates don't always match up it seems!
