I agree for advice on life in general.... But for sure when my wife gets here all hobby's are out the door for a long time.

I think I'll take up spousal worship as a hobby for a loooooong time!

Got a meeting with an immigration specialist working for my company on Sat. at 10am.

My company already has several LMO's, and is willing to hire my wife....I'll see the outcome of the meeting, and see if there is anything they can do.

Note that we have 3 new landed immigrants working here that arrived in a month from application start. If anything does go through, I of course will still leave PR application in process, but if it doesn't, I'm going to move forward with visit visa application.

it is usually Wednesday afternoons...but they don't really like to set a pattern.....so it could be this evening or tomorrow.....or next week.......it's always a guessing game with them

70 DAYS....July 4 now...

It has been updated, but the time has gone up to 70 days and they are working on stuff around July 4th.

Not too bad of an increase, so I'm still happy. It seemed kind of a leap when it went to 66 days anyway.

Dont be so sad. my first time attempt was Feb, so I experienced from 56 to 80 and 92 and 104 days )

i couldnt sleep for many days because of too much F5 on CIC websites too.. so i decided to go to sleep (im in Vietnam so it's 11h different )
