Hello

I was asked to redo medical examination even before my current medical exam expired. The expiry date of my current medicals is over a month away from the request date. Also my background check is in process right now. Does anyone have any idea why they requested new medicals before its expiry date? And also how much times does it take if I get my fresh medical examination done to reach Ircc?

Thanks

Hi,

I received request for re medicals today for me (principal applicant) and my children. However, no request for re medicals for my spouse (dependent). Is it possible that my spouse's medicals were extended because he did not received a re medical request?

Did you get any medical updates in your profile before you received a remedical request? My medicals status changed from "you don't need a medical exam" to "we are reviewing your medical exam" yesterday. I wonder if it's a sign of remedical coming my way.
Still hoping for extension though, for my family of 4 the cost of medical exam - and we are currently in the US - is quite steep!

Guys I’ve given remedicals on 21st December 2020 & my hospital submitted it to IRCC on 29th December 2020. Today, even after 1 month, Still my remedical is not passed. The status is “we are reviewing the results of your medicals”.
Why so much of delay? Is this normal? I called IRCC but they informed that everything is going good in your case file. Please advice.

Hi, My wife’s medical will expire in a month. She is secondary outland applicant on my CEC application. To be on safer side I want to redo her medical just to save time. Last medical was an upfront medical but what is this on called, the one we do after medical expires. What document do i need to book medical exam. Is their any chance to get a wrong medical done.? Any help will be appreciated.

Hello everyone!

My meds will expire soon, and in my country, it's absolutely impossible to book a visit an official panel physician within the mandatory 30 days period of waiting for additional documents to be provided. So, my question is:
Can I retake the exam upfront before I will receive the request from IRCC?
