Hello,
Need advice on PCC.

I just received my new passport. And I have about 35 days to submit PCC to New Delhi VO.

If I apply tomorrow, when can I expect to get my PCC from local area SHO in Delhi?

Or will it be faster with Passport office in Delhi?

thanks

not more than a week time..

Actually, looking at the tracker once again, it is shocking how many London applicants have not yet gone to IN .......
If, as we hope and have assumed, our tracker is representative of the immigration situation as a whole, this indicates a chaotic approach to processing, especially affecting the earliest applicants since the changes in June 2010.
What is going on at London ???? >:(

mine is also the same. RBVO :(

There seems to be no rhyme or reason to the way they are processing at London. We are fortunate enough to have done medicals now, but a few applicants who applied several months after us got their med requests before us - and likewise some applicants who have applied before us have not even gone into process yet.

I do not know if they somehow order the applications by complexity and process the simplest first or something?

My deepest sympathies to those at London still waiting, I know how frustrating it must be. Fingers crossed we see some serious movement this week now VO are fully back from vacation!

Wayne.

IMO, it doesn't depend on the complexity of the case at hand; had it been like this, I would've received medicals by now 'cause I think no case could be as simpler than ours! I believe it all depends on your country of origin/residence. You can clearly see in the spreadsheet, the majority of the applicants receiving the medicals/change in status to in process, are those who applied while WITHIN the UK. It could be justified that since background checks/verifications could take longer for applicants outside the UK for the London VO, but again these two are made AFTER your status changes to IN PROCESS. And for us, the status is still RBVO! I mean how could they justify this?? I don't want to say this but this clearly indicates discrimination on their part or is it something else? I hope we all get our medicals soon!

Hi Coolbreeze

If applying with PP Office Delhi you get it the same day (within hrs to be precise). all you need is to be there well in time.

Hope it helps

Thanks

Thanks Bindu, was wondering why I dont see the med rcvd line when clearly they've rcvd and cashed my dd. Meds were done over a month ago. ???

Ur right. Keeps us all guessing.
The only thing I can observe is the difference in file numbers.

Sorry but thats absolutely wrong. I had my DD encashed on the 15th of april. If thats the scenario then today I might even have bought my tickets to fly.

Can this be true? Has everyone updated their details?
I am reading all these as RBVO with no further updates;
asaif
Bman
Akrum66
immigrantapplicant
wakawaka
ammaartahir
wenstumped
queencougar (us!)
Amro ELsayed
adeel41
zadmalik
Ahd. Sherbiny
mrgeminian
04vancouver
sanabelj
IRG
and as IN PROCESS but not yet med requests received;
linkrink

That's a heck of a lot, when quite a lot of people further down the line have already received their Meds Requests and PCC etc and in many cases had them and submitted everything.
Now I am starting to get anxious that they have lost our paperwork or something stupid like that, but with so many of us, surely that cannot be true.
If, as we hope and have assumed, our tracker is representative of the immigration situation as a whole, this indicates a chaotic approach to processing, especially affecting the earliest applicants since the changes in June 2010.

Hello to all the Lost Londoners ;) who have picked up on this! It is such a shame that envious thoughts and the unfairness of it all marr our genuine happiness as others receive good news. However, we had no choice anyway. It couldn't have changed anything for us even if we had known that early applicants were going to be the slowest - my husband had to go start work in Canada in August 2010 without me and there was no getting round that.
On the Case specific e-mail front and the Minister Kenney e-mail front, the CSe-mail has been in for nearly three weeks now and no response.
Minister Kenney e-mail sent at a similar time and still no response. He has had other things on his mind recently, such as the election and is probably having a beer to celebrate as we speak. ::) Maybe then he will respond to our e-mails. Has anyone else received anything?
My husband is moving into our new house this week and so we will need to send a change of address notification. I am loathe to do this over the ECAS system as no-one at the VO seems to be looking at ours anyway :(
Can anyone advise the best method for updating our address to ensure that it receives an acknowledgement?

Sorry asked the question before seeing your dd answer. Cannot fathom what the hold might be then.

I agree. Its more than a month and a half for me too but no PP with Visa yet. Of course no change in ecas too.

To be fair, he has said max percentage. Maybe, we're the other bit. :P
