Hello everyone

Change in IELTS requirements. useful news for those who are going to apply..........

EFFECTIVE December 23, 2010: If you are submitting a language test with your application, the results are now valid for 2 years from the time you took the test, instead of 1 year. This change applies to Federal skilled worker, Canadian Experience Class and Business Class Immigrants.

Dear Friend ,
Good to hear such a good news, but still until today the checklist says you need to submit IELTS result which is no more than 1 year old. Could you share the link for this news? Thanks for sharing.

Hmmmmm ::) ! I wonder what I missed but I'm glad to see whatever it was, it has been efficiently sorted out. Like most of the members have already mentioned this forum is like one big family and we have formed some (very 'virtual' but reliable) friendships. Having said that, I guess all friends fight every now and then, thats what makes the relations grow stronger.

So anyway, Here's to hoping 7th Sept applicants receive our PERs on Wednesday/ Thursday; really don't know if I can take the suspense all the way to the new year.

On another note, applicants under NOC 3131: Has anyone applied for the document evaluation and licensing procedures as yet? I'd be glad if someone could send me a PM in this regard.

By my time: 2 days to go to get my PER (HOPEFULLY!!!) and 5 days to go for the new year (not counting today of course). So either way, a countdown is on. Phew...I feel like I'm in a spaceship!
I hope you'll get a good news this week, since they will be working.

Dear sunny

I know one case. My friends wife was elctronic engineer with 16 year study. She was lecturer and she filed in i think 2009. She could not clear IELTS though she tried many times. So vo sent teh file back after one year with stating all the points she gain. her education points were 20 only i am sure abt that. so u count it only 20 for you.

For teh work experience u are asking is that during ur full time study if you work then its not the full time work so u better do not count that one year experience. eitehre u will be in problem in latter on stage. may be they can ask you about this and u will be in problem. i am not sure abot this so u better get some one else idea also

thank you

Dear EnvioZA,

Of course Nowrooz is great, as for everything, and most importantly the season and the very ver nice spring weather in the best part of Iran. On the other hand it would be great to have one day or two off and celebrate and be happy in the middle of the cold season.
