TODAY mptocanada got the visa ........ .... Spoke to him couple of hours back ....... it was an incredible journey for him ..... there is something hidden in his story which ofcourse I can't reveal... :-X :-X
He may come online (may be tomorrow) and may open up himself!!!!

I have just noticed below parameter in CIC website on Ecas status... which reads following steps under "Decision Made" . Some of us got additional line as “Medical results have being received” but our main status remains IN PROCESS.

Now, it seems like a bug... isn't it???

Please share your view point...

(A decision has been made at this point.)

Medical Results Received by CIC
We have received your medical results. We will contact you only if additional tests are needed.

Approval Status Determined
Your application will be either approved or rejected. We will inform you of the decision in writing.

Permanent Residence Status Determined
If your application is approved, we will send you your permanent resident documentation and a letter saying what we need to finalize your permanent residence.

@Anil: I hope you will let us know the hidden as well as incredible story of MP2C which you've hinted at in case he doesn't open up in a day or two. Else, you must've heard the saying "Curiosity killed the Cat..." and you really don't want to torture us felines.

Great point, Raj. Reckon another of those quirks of eCAS. Somebody probably forgot to link the eCAS status to the explanation I guess. The eternal optimist I am, I would assume that a decision has actually been made, but the landing page just reflects "In Progress"...then again the "proof of the pudding" lies in the maple leaf, eh!!
