TODAY mptocanada got the visa ........ .... Spoke to him couple of hours back ....... it was an incredible journey for him ..... there is something hidden in his story which ofcourse I can't reveal... :-X :-X
He may come online (may be tomorrow) and may open up himself!!!!

Even I got the same line added in my ecas status... it doesn’t seem a bug as we have completed our medicals... & moreover not everyone got the same status…. it’s unlike previous occasions…

I see that the following ND VO applicants got their 2nd AOR long back (Before March 14, 2011 - More than 50 days) but are still stuck at RBVO stage (Without any additional doc request communication).......Just wanted to chk if there has been any change to your application as some of you haven't posted in a while.....

Hi Buffalo applicants,

Have you ever noticed that Buffalo has changed the majority of statuses on Fridays and Mondays?!?! ;D
They suddenly changed most of the applicants status to RBVO on 25 March (Friday).
other dates are 18 Feb, 15 April, 18 April!!!!
Hope to see lots of "IN Process" on this Friday ;D

As a Buffalo applicant I have nothing to do except checking my status every day (or sometimes every 5 minutes) and struggling to find a logic in this beast's time lines ??? ;D

great news..all ther best..you are a sep applicant..hope they do something about other applicants you applied before than you .. can u share ur details...like how many countries lived/travelled, anything complicated about ur application, number of dependents etc etc..
may be this might give come clue as to whether they r picking simple applications first or something..

Sorry for the late reply; just reading your msg now.

Yes, my application is very straightforward - I'm the only Principal Applicant; never married, no kids, etc. My Travel History is very minimal. I've never traveled anywhere else other than U.S. Also, both my Bachelor's & Master's degrees are from well known American schools (State Univ's).

I don't know if that's the reason for my changed status. That said, I do not completely trust the eCas system. It has been known to give out erroneous updates. Given Buffalo's poor functionality, I can't say this is really good news on my behalf. Nothing is sure until we get the PR Visa on hand.

I do wish you & other Buffalo applicants the very best. I wish every applicant here the very best!

I have just noticed below parameter in CIC website on Ecas status... which reads following steps under "Decision Made" . Some of us got additional line as “Medical results have being received” but our main status remains IN PROCESS.

Now, it seems like a bug... isn’t it???

Please share your view point...

(A decision has been made at this point.)

Medical Results Received by CIC
We have received your medical results. We will contact you only if additional tests are needed.

Approval Status Determined
Your application will be either approved or rejected. We will inform you of the decision in writing.

Permanent Residence Status Determined
If your application is approved, we will send you your permanent resident documentation and a letter saying what we need to finalize your permanent residence.
