I have been observing that lot of forum members have "File transfer" date (what is this?) my present status is "In Process" and as per the guidelines after this the only stage is "Decision Made". then why are lot of people are saying that their status changed to RBVO.

I would be rather surprised if the VO tends to ignore the verification. the whole idea of post june 26 rules was to check the fraud.

I don't think so you need to worry, as you have already included him in your application & made his processing fees before the cut off age.

I received NER in Feb. but I have sent my application in March. It has been received by CIC on 10th March 2011; all docs sent with IELTS; PCC - not sent; CC or BD - BD sent; NOC-1233. VO - New Delhi

Kindly add me to the spread sheet - both Delhi and Intl.

Also I need your inputs for the following query :-

My son would turn 22 in July this year. Looking at the speed CIC is processing the files I feel I would get the Elegibility REview latest by May. Now what is bothering me is - if our passports not stamped by the end of July would my son not be eligible to get the PR?

I am confused as I want to get PCC for him from USA and do not know how to proceed. You inputs would throw some light.

Breaking news this week is that Nectar talks rubbish!

There is so much gossip and misinformation about this process and in many ways the authorities are to blame for this for not making their processing times and guidelines clear.
I am still wondering why there is news for October applicants Danishsoomro and JAMES1 (no offence, guys, good luck to you!) but yet no meds for linkrink et al.
The whole thing is confusing and seemingly unfair with regard to the speed of processing for similar applicants. We waited over twice as long for PER as applicants who applied 3 months after us.
People like us and CanadaJimmy will have to attempt to renew LMO and TWP unless they process us Cat 2s as priority (which they claim to do, but as yet there is no evidence of it).

Anyway, we have been touched by tragedy this week and it has changed our view of this whole thing.
A friend of ours died on Thursday after just a fortnight of known illness with cancer. Coincidentally, I was collecting for the Marie Curie charity (which funds nurses for very ill cancer patients in their own homes) on Friday evening at the supermarket and the stories people told me and the one I had to tell made us realise what is truly important.
Those of you who know that my OH went over ahead of me and we were intending to wait until we got PR before I joined him, but no more. Not waiting - just getting everything sorted asap now for us to be together and then let PR come as it will.

I read the post by Nectar & it hasn't gotten me worried a bit.

He doesn't have anything to support his sayings & when you ask him straightforward he keeps slipping away from giving a direct reply.. he even seems clueless to me.. & moreover, what he says conflicts with the available facts.

I personally expect London VO to surprise us sooner than later .. I think that we will hear from London this month .. & when they do contact us, I bet things are going to work REALLY fast.. because there really can't be that much differences between VOs ..

Nevermind what people say & lets revise our facts:
1. London VO already recieved our applications (because our ecas says received by VO & because our application lots have been already send by CIO to respective VOs as proofed by ND, manilla & other VOs..). I even think that they were 2 lots one till the 4th of October or so (because there was a bunch of 2nd AORs & MD from the above VOs till that date, then a silent period) & a second one later

2. Visa Offices cannot have different priorities because they all have to follow the minister's orders.. from what we see from ND VO & Manilla, >26/6 are in priority, they could work concurrently with the <26/6 or with any other pre or post whatever, but still, they are in priority & cannot be left behind, especially that they do need to place it in priority to proof their hard work & the effectiveness of their new system.

Therefore, the delay in London VO is probably due to inner-office organizational circumstances (e.g. they are making background checks & other checks first & aren't willing to inform the applicant of anything yet, installing new systems, requiring more staff.. etc

Since, no matter what the cause of the delay is, it's due to minor factors rather than major ones.. & thus the delay is not supposed to be much longer & when they do work, I believe that they are going to be really fast in their processing..

" a friend which was under FSW1,,,,, he got his medicals in Oct 2010,,,,,,,done medicals and sent the passport and Right of landing fee in Nov 2010 but on Jan 19 he received his passport back saying that it is not in good condition( they said lamination is not good),,,nd told him to reissue the passport and send again,,,,while he was doing that,,,on 22 Feb he got a VERIFICATION CALL ,,,,,,,they called him and his employer at the same time,,,,3 or 4 mistakes were there..... he received a letter from CHC ND,,,stating that they think his experience is not authentic,,,,and there are DISCREPANCIES in the verification done by them and they have asked to clear his stand,,,
so all my friends Please be ware after medicals also,,,

Your style of expressing is giving me a kind of color blindness ...... .... you could have posted the same thing plainly ....... The more you shout .... less the people will listen here ...

It is better to wait for at least 2 months (60 days) to get a Positive Eligibility Review. If everything is correct and as per the MI, you will get the PER. Did your CC get charged .....?

Welcome to the thread! I am sorry to learn of your NER, but glad you decided to re-apply. I have added your details to the spreadsheet. The good news is that CIO is much faster at issuing PER nowadays and the wait has been reduced to below 60 days

Regarding your other query, as I understand matters, even if he were eligible (under 22) when the visa was awarded he would have to apply again anyway once he hit 22 and was no longer dependent of you.

Hi Kittu,

I believe that the "lock in" date for your son and your application is the date when CIO received your application. He will receive his PR even if he turns 22 and remains dependent and unmarried. As you are already making a payment for his fees (Processing and RPRF (at a later stage)) therefore it does not make any sense for him to apply for a fresh PR when he turns 22 and go through the process again. So you can begin the process to collect his PCC from US.

Hi,

Your PCC process to abtain FBI PCC is:

Go to a finger printing agency and get your son's finger prints done and fill out the necessary forms. Then courier everything to the FBI office , expect a result post about 8 weeks. All the best
