You have to stay physically in Canada for more than 3 years to be eligible for Canadian citizenship and then go for the test and then relinquish your old passport to get the canadian one...

You can carry any tom dick and harry money in world to show as POF...it's the conversion to CAD $ which will hurt you...so it's your take...

It seems that Sept and Oct 2010 people in 1122 NOC are getting an overhaul from VO's all over the world. It is likely that this 1122 NOC may not continue from July 2012. New NOC list is on way. Hope they give justice to waiting people.
