I received NER in Feb. but I have sent my application in March. It has been received by CIC on 10th March 2011; all docs sent with IELTS; PCC - not sent; CC or BD - BD sent; NOC-1233. VO - New Delhi

Kindly add me to the spread sheet - both Delhi and Intl.

Also I need your inputs for the following query :-

My son would turn 22 in July this year. Looking at the speed CIC is processing the files I feel I would get the Elegibility REview latest by May. Now what is bothering me is - if our passports not stamped by the end of July would my son not be eligible to get the PR?

I am confused as I want to get PCC for him from USA and do not know how to proceed. You inputs would throw some light.

I actually suspect he DOES have a small amount of inside information - probably a friend or a friend of a friend who has connections to CHC London. But the information is sparse and he pads it out with his own made-up garbage. Since he refuses to tell us where his bullcrap, erm sorry, I mean "information" comes from, we can but speculate.

IMO he is an egocentric narcissist who loves to sound important - hence his big publicity stunt "I am leaving this forum". Then "OOOH thank you to my 85 worshippers who begged me to stay, I will stay then!".

Don't worry I am cheerful! Just a bit edgy and I guess a little paranoid that it can still all go wrong! Worried if they do employment verification that they won't be able to get hold of my wife's boss, who is currently hardly at his desk and seems to be in meetings all the time.

Ah well, just have to wait and see what next week brings.

Hello Kittu,

Welcome to the thread! I am sorry to learn of your NER, but glad you decided to re-apply. I have added your details to the spreadsheet. The good news is that CIO is much faster at issuing PER nowadays and the wait has been reduced to below 60 days

Regarding your other query, as I understand matters, even if he were eligible (under 22) when the visa was awarded he would have to apply again anyway once he hit 22 and was no longer dependent of you.

And although CIO is working faster nowadays I can see no way you could expect to get a visa by July. I am an August 2010 applicant I am only JUST going to get a visa by July - maybe! CIO will probably take 2 months to issue PER, and another month to transfer the file - so the earliest you might expect to go into process at visa office is June, maybe longer. If everything works out lightning fast at visa office you might conceivably get a visa by September/October - but towards Christmas is more likely.

However, I am certainly no expert on such matters - we don't yet have any children so this isn't something I have looked into. Can anyone else comment?

Hi Kittu,

I believe that the "lock in" date for your son and your application is the date when CIO received your application. He will receive his PR even if he turns 22 and remains dependent and unmarried. As you are already making a payment for his fees (Processing and RPRF (at a later stage)) therefore it does not make any sense for him to apply for a fresh PR when he turns 22 and go through the process again. So you can begin the process to collect his PCC from US.

I got the letter by post (surface mail) from London Visa Office. The letter was dated 16/03/2011 and the Medicals n RPRF are expected to get back to them within 60 days to the date of the letter. The letter was posted on 17/03/2011 and i received it via post (surface mail) today 19/03/2011.

Hi,

Your PCC process to abtain FBI PCC is:

Go to a finger printing agency and get your son's finger prints done and fill out the necessary forms. Then courier everything to the FBI office , expect a result post about 8 weeks. All the best

I would be rather surprised if the VO tends to ignore the verification. the whole idea of post june 26 rules was to check the fraud.
