Neil is going to start the process to renew his LMO asap. As there is a 6 month time limit in which to then activate the TWP, so he can activate it shortly before his current one runs out if PER has not arrived by then (which it should have done!)
Yes, I can get an Open Work Permit - I have just made some enquiries about a job today and Neil has gone to see a house rental, so fingers crossed on both fronts .
London are clearly getting somewhere on >June apps now, so it can't be long before we are all getting some news. It also seems that they are working at strange hours and days, so maybe the overtime will do us all good .
As you say it SHOULD be, but it doesn't hurt to have backup plans in place! I have a feeling we're looking at maybe July for our PR visas. Just depends which side of 17th July as to whether we have to supply renewed PCCs or not!
