health care is free in canada but PR get health card only after 3 months

There may be a three-month waiting period for your OHIP (Ontario Health Insurance Plan) coverage.

Generally speaking, if you are a newcomer to Ontario, or a former resident returning here to live after being out of the country for more than seven months, the waiting period begins on the date you establish or re-establish residence in Ontario. You may also be required to be present in Ontario for 153 days of the first 183 days immediately following the date residence is established in Ontario (you cannot be absent for more than 30 days during the first 6 months of residence).

If you are not covered by another province/territory, it is important to buy private health insurance to cover you until your Ontario health insurance coverage becomes effective.

In my opinion, pre existing health condition is not covered by private insurance company,
Might be covered by Health plan packages(Blanket purchase health insurance package) issued by the government...
I opine serge to bring an additional fund for the surgery....

Is it quite easy to get under table job in C'da like USA?
Hey Brother

I didn't understand the meaning of Under Table

but there are two points i can consider as under table one is without Papers and Other is with some bribe.
Bribe doesn't work in Canada and don't even talk to anybody about this i will suggest its easy to get jobs in this country just will take some time needs your will to do anything without thinking small or big job.

second under table is cash job yes its easy to find cash job as well in Toronto but again you have to be willing to do anything like factory, bakery, gas station, construction and there are way more jobs and if you are lucky you can get good jobs.

but if you are permanent resident i would suggest to go for Call Centre, Security or gas station

Security job is very good job where you can work and study for your next step too and you can do it full time because you don't get tired even working 12 hrs day because you don't have to do anything other then either standing and sitting or just sitting and rounds to place ( you can get security job right after you get license of security) for security license you need to go for 40 hrs classes and a test which is way easy.

then apply in security company, there are so many in Toronto area.

Thanks

nahi nahi.. under table means cash job.. as we know cash job in western country is Illegal.. Employer must have to pay you in cheque and if you get pay by cheque the TAX automatically deducted from you salay.. Now no cheque means no Tax and this is done by almost every Indian, pakis, middle east employer who owns gas station or restaurant..
Never try to do a cash job when you have your papers (permnent immigration or work permit) There are alot of reasons for this
1. you are not sure if you will get proper salary or even you get salary of your work Indian's and Pakistani employer do this alot. they get all the work from you and don't pay you. you can't go to labour law for this).
2. If you working on cash and they find out then in future there are risk of sponsoring somebody from your family.
3. suppose if you are working at any place and something bad happens like fire, accident or even any robbery then you are in trouble as well.

Most problem is not getting salary.

why not just come to a beautiful country and follow the proper rules.

these Taxes which you pay come back to you in the way of Health Insurance, Employment Insurance, Unemployment Welfare, Kids funds (like kids get around 200 to 500 until age of 18), you don't have to pay for school fees for your kids until grade 12

Taxes provide jobs in the country so please come to a nice country try to keep it the way it is clean and healthy.

Thanks

Agreed!
But yes with security job you will have a honest pay..but mate you will not gain any experience on your related field...And you will not develop your communication and intra client relationship..i think you will be in solace regarding the circle..you will have a good life ...but i highly recommend to do low level job in your NOC..i know it will be hard but if you will gain some Canadian experience and also some Canadian recommendation on your resume..
I think we have to made our mind what our drive to reach Canada a honest pay or a honest life with the things we do better...
You have always got the choice ...Make the right one...
Cheers

And for the first year you work what ever hrs you work and pay taxes

every penny comes back to you when we file for Tax return

First year it comes back to you 100% of whatever tax you pay
Second year it comes back to you 80% of your tax you pay

and first two years are those years for a new Immigrant which gives them a big experience of job.

so you don't want to come to canada and start working on cash as it will not help you in future to buy a house or any business.

Thanks

Thanks for reply Spartan

Security job for sure does not give you experience but it does give you experience to put on your resume. here is not like india if you work in call centre it spoils your career, Call centre experience also counts as customer service and you learn to deal with canadian people or customers.

same in security it gives you a start up so that you don't get depressed just by looking jobs in your own field because most of fields require you to study and upgrade yourself as per canadian evaluations.

any company you go to look for job will ask you for canadian experience of minumum 6 months and trust me that does not need to be in your own field at start, that has to be from any field and yes I would say with security you have a chance to keep looking in your own field because you don't get tired when you go home.

so getting job in your own field is not impossible it just takes time and don't waste that time just to look for job in you own field use that time for making money to cover your expenses and look for job or upgrade your skills.

even working as volunteer in any company of your own field gives you best chances to get into your own field in sex months.

Thanks

helo tushar,

Many congratulations for ur COPR and PP.... Live ur dream in Canda.... God bless u ???
were u planning to land ???

FOR ALL LANDING TILL JANUARY(FARES MAY GO DOWN IN NOVEMBER ND DECEMBER ONLY) rest 'll be high
august nd september 'll be high on air fares :( . book ur tickets in advance.
Only buy summer clothes for Canada. As Winters are Harsh clothes in India are not made for those harsh conditions....
clothes are equally expensive in Canada and India.
Of course u can buy a pair of shades from India as they r cheaper in INdia.
Rather buying tickets online. try buying through travel agents. agents generally decrease their commission..
Some agents misguide too.. As the flights are connected with Gulf too. (e.g. they may say Air CAnada's booking but umay have to fly to Bahrain in gulf plain than u may be asked to sit in Air Canada.
Try for Swiss Air they are bit cheap. u may get 1 @ 40k to 45k .

http://toronto.kijiji.ca/ best site for landing assistance in toronto...

thanx nd rgds
