Inland Candidate(Currently working in Canada)
My passport is expiring in June 2017. I was given to understand that the passport validity should be min 6 months at the time of PPR. I am a little concerned on this.
Does Anybody know if this will cause any issue? Please share your experience.
Can we submit for passport renewal at this stage of the PR Application?
If you are inside they will issue pr until your passport is valid for 3 months but i think you will get your pr before this dec. If .01% you don't get your ppr until Dec 15, apply for new one you will get your passport within 15 days here and inform CIC that you changed your passport. I pick 15 Dec because after Dec 15 not too much work done from Dec 15 to Jan 15 in canada even you know this you are already in Canada like me
Thanks,
Hold on until November. The PR application processing might get faster going forward.rrmr said:Thanks Sammy1976! Of what I understand is you suggest that do not get it renewed till end of dec 2016.
if it takes just 15 days for renewal, can we get it done now and inform CIC about it?
Thanks,
If you are referring to OINP AOR and nomination, then you need to search for the thread by the month in which you sent your application to OINP. This thread is for eAPR AOR received in July 2016.Sandycool said:Hey Guys,

Same here i applied for the notes at august 9th and got it 2 days agoaussiegirl16 said:My status hasn't moved since my BG went into in progress (first time) on the 29th July! I applied for GCMS notes on 19 August and these haven't come through yet either, so I think everything is running super slow now...
The RPRF request usually means you have passed the R-10, and so your BG check should have changed to 'not needed at this time'. Having said that, my BG check has been in progress for nearly two months now with no change so if there's no movement you're certainly not the only one...Joejo said:Hi am getting confused after reading posts from some forum members. Here is my timeline
FSW Inland
AOR July 31
CELPIP Original Request and uploaded on Aug 16
Medical Passed and BG went in Progress on Aug 17
Schedule A (for Spouse) and RCMP (for me) Request Sep 7
Schedule A uploaded on Sep 14 (I didnt receive RCMP CRC on this date)
RPRF Request Sep 14
RPRF paid and RCMP CRC uploaded on Sep 17.
In the RPRF request letter it was given that my application found eligible under the category I applied for; admissibility review (security, criminality and/or medical) is still ongoing.
But in the forum I can see that BG changes to in progress after RPRF for most applicants. Am bit worried because my BG is in progress for more than a month. Is that something normal?
