My card finally arrived! They sent it to the wrong address and it took nearly 2 weeks to arrive but phew!

Is anyone else still waiting on their card to arrive that's taken a lot longer than it should have? Mine was posted on the 15th and it still hasn't arrived - so now I'm stuck in Australia until it does.

Does he have someone in Canada that he can appoint as an authorised representative that can phone CIC for him? That's what I'm doing, to cover myself while I'll be out of the country.

I'm leaving on a trip too! Unfortunately mine hasn't been posted yet when I called today, but that's what I'm asking them to check when I phone. I know it's been in production since the 3rd. I heard about the delays too but only from one person and I've phoned a few times

I just did a regular case specific enquiry (https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx). They didn't answer my real question but it was good to find out. It takes like 2 weeks though so you'd be better off phoning to ask for the status like others have done.

If anyone else is waiting for their interview appointment details, I phoned at the end of December to request this and just received an email to set this up for early Feb (in Calgary).

For anyone else looking for an appointment in Calgary, after 20 minutes on hold I was told that there's a three week wait for an appointment. IRCC will email the office, who will then be in touch with me to make the appointment. Have a happy new year!

Hi all! A quick update on my PR - received my Passport Request on the 9th Dec, Passport posted on the 13th Dec, arrived at CIC on the 14th, CIC account was updated on the 22nd, COPR posted by CIC on the 23rd and received on the 27th. Best of luck for anyone still waiting :)
