Call the CIC and ask them where is your file is processed now, and if they refused to give you the information tell them I want to open a CSE and I need this information.

Hi droidkar,

my visa office was Ottawa. I called CIC to find out.

I applied alone, no family. I travelled about 15 timed abroad, mostly Europe. I did not order GCMS.

FSW means I received direct ITA without nomination. I was eligible as a Skilled Worker. I had CRS 464 points.

So, it seems the only point that impact on processing time can be number of family members.
The BG check for each person.
No travel history, no gcms.

I think inland CEC is the slowest to be processed

Just called CIC call centre now, the lady (Maria) I spoke to confirmed to me that my application is with Accra VO but mentioned she is unable to know the status of app. Please does any one know at what stage application is sent to local VO?

I just got PPR. My BG changed to In Progress about 45 min ago! I think people whose BG changed in the last few days, the good news is on the way!

The anxiety is really intense during this period where there is absolutely nothing we can do to speed up the process. It's all in the hands of the CIC.

Do you guys think that until May 2016 I get the passport request?
