i have one question pala (sorry super kulit na huhu):
Since college graduate ako dito, I applied either for postgraduate or postsecondary / college diploma sa Centennial.. I asked the college and they told me I can get accepted into either pero I just have to choose.

Take a postgraduate course, post-secondary is college/vocational. Since you already finished a Bachelor's Degree in the Philippines, hindi logical na post-secondary ang kukunin mo

Hi guys! I am planning to apply for Student Visa as well. Target school is CIMT in Ontario for Post Graduate - Business Management. Sa mga nasa Canada na, kamusta nmn po ang survival jobs while studying? thank you! ;D

hello!! well if you're asking me, then yes ang plan ko is to stay for good sa Canada kasi gusto ko na i-establish sarili ko there...

i'm just taking it one safe step at a time kaya I decided mag study muna ako dun bago ako magwork para better chances of securing residency there

Yes, unless you will have a very convincing letter of explanation. Inabuso kasi yan ng mga applicants para makapasok ng ca

Oh alright noted! I mean I can try to make a very conving SOP pero ako mismo may doubts na baka mareject kasi yun nga, di logical... thanks so much peej06!!

also to scorpio for your answer haha... so postgraduate certificate na talaga hehe...

ask ko nalang if matapos yung term ko dun, i can apply for PGWP right? i read somewhere na if one year / less than a year yung study term mo, they can only issue PGWP up to one year as well? is that correct ba?

if so, how can i lengthen my stay pa there if kunwari up to one year lang PGWP na inissue sa akin? if nabigyan na talaga ako ng full time job offer nung company, saka lang nila ako pwedeng i-permit na magstay pa ng mas matagal?

sorry for all the questions and all... i'm thinking long-term na kasi haha

Yeah one year study = one year PGWP. It's risky since they issue you PGWP only once. most provincial nomination programs require one year of work experience before you can apply for PR. There are exceptions or special programs for the not so populated areas or regions, but you still need a job offer / work experience. So in my opinion a one year PGWP is simply too short.

There are ways to extend your stay, not your PGWP, but it's complicated with no guarantee that you will be able to stay permanently. So two year course is the safest pa rin.
