Oh yay!

Hi! I'm on my last semester of Global Business Management na.
I think the deposit letter is just instructions on how to deposit your CAD 2300. It's irrelevant to your application anyway. yung letter of acceptance ang kailangan mo. Yes, you do have to pay the deposit to get the acceptance, pero refundable naman yan in case you change your mind or visa rejection (na wag naman sana) ... they will only deduct 200 dollars ba yon? Ganun talaga so choose your school carefully. Good luck!

Hello, guys! Pwede po bang humingi ng advice? I'm currently studying Graduate Certificate here in Niagara College and gusto ko sana mag study for another year. Matatapos program ko this August and mag eexpire study permit ko this November. Plan ko po sanang mag enroll next January 2018 para second post grad program. Pwede ba akong mag work for 4 months tapos enroll ako sa January? Any advice po? Thank you! :)

no, because in those four months, you are not a student and in between permits ka kumbaga, so you will be working illegally. Ingat Lang talaga .... mahirap na isacrifice ang future. So go to school na lang straight, don't take a break para makapagwork ka pa rin.

Study permit extension:
Kung mageextend ka ng application you can do it online or paper base and send it to CPC - Vergeville, Alberta.
Once your status expires and nakasend ka na ng application for extension, you are currently not out of status in Canada but on Implied status and waiting for the decision.
Also the processing time in CPC Vegreville is around 122 days, that's 4 months so try to apply early.
You cannot work legally though. If you are thinking of getting a PGWP, dont. Once ka lang pwede magapply dun. If you use it now you cannot apply for it again.

1. Proof of funds - Kung yung boss mo ang magproprovide ng funds mo kailangan niya magprovide ng affidavit of financial support. Usually bank accound ng provider pero kung company baka yung permit and such.

You must prove that you can support yourself and the family members who accompany you while you are in Canada. You can prove that you have sufficient funds to support yourself in Canada by showing some of the following:
-proof of a Canadian bank account in your name if money has been transferred to Canada;
-proof of a student/education loan from a financial institution;
-your bank statements for the past four months;
-a bank draft in convertible currency;
-proof of payment of tuition and accommodation fees;
-a letter from the person or institution providing you with money; and
-proof of funding paid from within Canada if you have a scholarship or are in a Canadian-funded educational program.

2. Sa letter provide niya na hire ka niya for what reasons, ganun pero dont be very specific na Canada lang because you will be hurting the Canadian labor market.
Sabihin niya na asset ka sa company, na pagaaralin ka niya at shoulder nila expenses and he will hire you back after you graduate for such and such reasons.

Guys question! After you finished your school can you apply for PGWP right away? Or you still need a company to sponsor you?Thanks!

• You must apply for a work permit within 90 days of receiving written confirmation (for example, a transcript or an official letter) from your institution indicating that you have met the requirements for completing your academic program.

Determine your eligibility — Work after graduation PGWP

you can apply for PGWP once you get your documents of graduation. that's usually one month after the last day of your final semester. And no, you don't need a company to sponsor you because it is a temporary visa and still not your PR.

Hi everyone!

I'm trying to schedule my Academic IELTS. Originally, I would have wanted to take it at British Council but the date I want is already full. So, I am consideing IDP. From what I know, please correct me if I'm mistaken, they use the same materials with British Council from Cambridge, right? I read somewhere that they also share a pool of interviewers for the speaking test. Any feedback on IDP?

Also, I am trying to apply for Fall 2017 intake. With the 8 week student visa processing times, is it safe to apply by mid June? I know it's a tight schedule but I was thinking, I can get my study permit (in theory, if God willing) by end of July/ early August which will hopefully give me enough time to re-apply (in case of rejection) or fly in time to September start of class? I'm planning to do my medical upfront to help with the very tight timelines. :-[

About IDP Education Limited

What are processing times?

If I apply today, do the processing times show how long it will take to process my application?

How long will it take to process my application?

How often are the processing times for visa offices updated?

Why do some application processing times change and others do not?

Possible if risk taker ka and very very very optimistic, pero kapag nareject hindi mo na aabutin ang reapplication dahil kukunin at hihintayin mo pa yung letter bakit nireject application mo para mare-assess and revise for reapplication

my sp was approved in 11 weeks and 4 days

IDP and British Council are basically the same - I don't think it makes any difference. They said mas mahirap daw British Council pero I got a high score naman .... so I don't think there's a big difference.

Why are you waiting pa for mid-June? It IS possible pero you never know ... apply as soon as you can would be my advice :)
