^^I checked my visa, wala namang time frame kung kelan ka papasok talaga. Kapatid is right that you should not wait too long from visa issuance to enter the country lang. In your case, it shouldn't be that big a problem. And you need only your revised LoA nothing else. What school is it, if i may ask?
Hello scorpio. Thank you very much po! Sa Niagara College po, IBM Course (Spring 2017).. :) Godbless!

Yun nga po eh. Late ko na po madiscover ang forum na ito at wala po akong idea sa mga "dpat pla" na mas magandang gawin. Ang nsa isip ko lng is makapasok sa CA. By the way po, nagprovide po ako ng job offer stating na babalik ako after 1yr of study dito sa pinas, would it affect po if I want to extend my study permit?

No, it will not affect your request for extension as long as you can show that you have enrolled for your 2nd 1 year program. I don't think there's anything for you to worry about. A lot of students have extended their study permit without any problem. The VO will not hold it against you if you changed your mind, just make sure that you are still a legit student.

Thank you scorpio :) Di ko rin kasi sure if ever kakayanin ko 2years since ang budget ko is good for 1year lang, hahah.. there is actually an option to apply for Scholarship sa Niagara college, ok lng kaya un?

Also, ok lng ba magjoin ako sa new company while waiting for the application result? I mean, hindi naman po mgkkprob if mgkkarecord ako ng new employment? Incase man madelay visa ko for May intake, I have some source of income to continue for another year.. hehe..

Well,no, most colleges do not offer scholarships for international students, so you really have to finance your own studies. The thing is kung 1 year plus 1 year course ka, you cannot work full time during summer break coz you are technically not a student at that time. So if you want a 3 year work permit, be prepared to fund your studies for two years.
EDIT: I checked the Niagara college website, they only offer scholarships to students from certain countries and under certain conditions and even then it is only for CAD 2000. So yeah, you have to pay for you own tuition still.

Yeah, sure you can join a new company while waiting for your application. I don't think that has any bearing on your application

Wooah!! Thank you po for clarification and info scorpio. Since ang nsa application ko is 1year study lang, I guess ang best thing to do is plan and prepare for the extension.. Mahabang processo pero pang matagalan ang resulta.. Salamat po sa inyo and hoping for the positive result sa application ntn lahaT :)

Hi Guys I have question for those specifically in centennial or have applied for centennial.

Dec 31, 2016 - Applied for Biotechnology (Advanced Diploma, 2 years, Fast Track). Docs sent are TOR and WES Accreditation only. No IELTS.
Feb 22, 2017 - Got notice from Centennial that I got accepted into the Program. Required 2,300 CAD Deposit to give formal Acceptance letter.
Mar 03, 2017 - Paid 2,300 CAD
Mar 21, 2017 - Received the official acceptance letter package

The thing is, my acceptance letter is conditional which can be met by English Proficiency (IELTS) or English/Math Assessment Exam on landing.
The program I applied to did not require IELTS but require Centennial College's Assessment Test, which as you may know can only be taken within the school's premises.
Tried to book in advance but ayaw nung system. Since this is allowed, I would rather take Centennial's assessment than pay 10k for IELTS.
I also have e-mail correspondence with the program coordinator that it's fine if I don't submit IELTS because I can take the Centennial Assessment test upon landing anyway.

How do I prove with my student visa application that I can meet this condition? Again, I cannot book the test way too early.

Moreover, the acceptance letter had two pages. Page one is the details of offer (program, campus, tution, start date).
The second page contains Centenial's own breakdown of estimated cost of living, which imposes a problem on my funds.
See, they overestimated the room and boarding cost to be 900 CAD a month whereas I've already scouted my rent to be not exceeding 500 CAD.
I have prepared just enough funds for my tuition + 10k cost of living but centennial's own cost of living over-estimation would make my funds short by a few hundred thousand pesos.
In this regards, can I just attach the first page of my acceptance letter? The second page really messed up the funds we allocated.

In addition, someone was successfully granted a visa despite showing only bank cert and no statement.
I plan on doing this as well. Do you think makakalusot? My supporter would be my dad who has a commercial building that generates more than enough money to support me.
Pwede bang bank cert nalang and ITR ng building ng dad ko? Makikita naman dun yung revenue niya every year. I think it is a legitimate enough reason not to obtain statements pa.

Thank you for the help and hopefully all of us would be granted a visa soon.
