I don't know why I am still shocked everytime I see that you are still waiting.. but WTF!! How many weeks since he was approve as visitor now?? This is so crazy

he was approved for visitor visa 6 weeks ago and they have had his passport for 5 and a half weeks, almost 6!
then they asked for the photos and intended address so they could issue his PR.. and they have had that stuff for almost 4 weeks

Yes we were extremely lucky with the entire process and getting the passport back in 24 days. I feel for you sb414. You helped me and advised me a couple of times. Hope it happens for you soon and of course for everyone else also.

we officially will have reached 17 months!!! pretty ridiculous

and so our ongoing battle with the Mexico VO continues...
both my husband and myself received a phone call from them today... they want ANOTHER set of photos! they claim that the ones we sent were the wrong size... my husband had extras so he measured them and they are the correct size.
but he has to send new ones, they are only giving 5 days.. no time to waste waiting for them to reply to my email.
will this ever end?!!?!?!?!!?

That is bullshit!! When we got our photos done, they were the wrong size... It says 50x70 and ours were a square. I assumed they were fine, because they read the instructions. We sent off out photos. Then my friend made them redo her photos five times until they measured properly. The photos that she had were WAY bigger than our photos, and ours were accepted!!! I feel so bad for you, it's so expensive to continually be sending things to Mexico, three months after being approved!!!

why he does not get his pics done at the VAC in santo domingo?? maybe that way they should be good, good luck.

he isn't in santo domingo right now or else he would go there. he brought the paper with him with the photograph specifications. the photos he had done last month were the correct size.
