Hi Teepain,
If a deportation order was issued then yes you will be asked for an ARC. The timelines vary but I see 3-6 months. Some have gotten it in 1 month. It depends on the visa office. They will ask for it, usually once you have passed eligibility during background check.

If the deportation took place over 6 years ago, they would still ask for the ARC? Also it's been 2 months since we submitted the PPC & Medical. Hypothetically speaking, if they ask for ARC then what's the processing time for ARC? Would they complete the application within the 12 months as they state on their website?
