they can take up to 3 months to get the decision letter so just wait until you hear from them because it might be a ppr who knows....

Hey Manpi23... dont stress yourself because other ppl get ppr before you. In the sponsorship process, immigration officers are very inconsistent .. So just wait until you hear from them. yes it hard when you dont hear from them but they are working and when your time comes god will make it work out for you...

Oh man i dont think its ppr ... They took a 10 min interview from my husband and told him that he didnt know much about me ( which was bs cause they never asked him anything about me) and he doesnt believe the marriegee is geniune. Then interview ended...
Never thot interviews would be this bad

Congrats on your ppr.... You dont have to send in anything for your daughter at all since she is already a Canadian citizen with a Canadian passport. You are the one that going to need your visa and landing papers since you are not a citizen like your daughter. I hope tis help you out

thanks dear

Hi there,

I received a refusal letter today. I had applied 25 months ago and I'm definitely going to appeal it but just have one question. Is it a good idea to apply for visitors for my wife meanwhile? Im in a situation where it's really hard for me to visit my wife where as she can and I have spoken to police department and they are willing to draft a letter for me explaining my current situation and and reason why it's difficult for me to visit my wife also local MP can write a letter to support my application and my family doctor can also provide a letter. But I'm confused because my visitors application was refused once about year an half ago but I didn't have all these things attached with my application. A prompt reply would really be appreciated please share your opinion or experience if you have gone through similar situation.
Thanks

Hi Qammaq,

I am very sorry for the bad news. My spouse sponsor application was rejected last June and I talked with an immigration consultant and he told me that I could apply for a visitor visa for my wife. The consultant did the work on my behalf but it was rejected. I also asked a lawyer and he told me that after your sponsor application is rejected it is very difficult to get a visitor visa. I think it is not a good idea to apply for a visitor visa because it is going to be rejected. Maybe there are some experts that can give you some advice.

God luck
