What do you mean? Every air line has its own web site. Pick up any of PIA, Emirates, Qatar, Ethehad, Saudi Airlines, Turkish or any other. These are the common carriers that are used for travelling between Pakistan and Canada. Each and every one of them has website from which you could book an itinerary and would receive an email for temp reservation (mostly for a day or so) after which it will be cancelled if you don't pay. Just attach that itinerary along with your application.

Many people just buy tickets this way (including) rather than running after travel agents since we can choose the cheapest flights available with some research.

No problem. The only thing you usually need is a credit along with other information to purchase a ticket this way. Though most airlines give you the option to go to one of their offices with PNR (ticket id of reservation) and pay through other means. But none of this is important if you are not actually purchasing a ticket.

This works domestically as well i.e. with in Pakistan for many years. I exactly don't remember when i had to purchase a ticket in cash or from an agent. The only restriction usually is that either the credit card used is one of the travelers and be able to produce / verify it when asked OR he validates it once before travel along with his NIC.

I am helping out a couple who is desiring to visit Canada as their son's wife is pregnant and her Cesarian delivery is expected in second week of July 2014. I have gone to website and done eligibility and received check list code. Please help me
1. What forms need to be submitted. from website I am told that IMM5257 (application for visitor) and imm5645 (family information) are required to be submitted. Do we need to submit any other Pakistan specific form. If yes then from where I may get it.
2. What other documents to submit apart from forms.
3. WHICH IS FASTER WAY MANUAL GERRYS/FEDEX OR ELECTRONIC APPLICATION.

Please help me out as the time is short, how much time it takes to get visitor visas from Islamabad. We live in Karachi. Would they be able to reach by second week of july 2014.

Please help, the aged couple will pray for you.

1. In additional with above mentioned forms
U have to submit schedule 1 form

2.submit invitational letter from son along with doctors report
Submit affidavit if son is sponsoring along with his bank statements pay stubs t4
If couple hav any property in pakistan then make a valution certificate of that property from any notary service in pakistan property may include their home agricultural land etc

Write a letter of intent to show their purpose of visit also explain in letter how you will manage urself there
And who will pay for accomodation etc
The most important thing u have to show y the coule will come back

Dear friends i hav a query their are currently three jobs tht i wud like to mention in the forms but the form has only one column and the other two are for previous jobs if i validate this and then use extra sheets for the current employment those pages of form dont contain the barcode so is it going to acceptable i mean those page of form without barcode or wat can be done abt it...thanks in advance and if we apply through VAC Centre in khi through paper application how many days does the cic takes to reply

The extra sheets are fine to be without bar code. Just don't fill any thing else on them except the additional job experiences to make it clear that it is additional.

CIC can take any length of time. You haven't even mentioned if you are applying for visit visa, study or work. However, even then time frame could be as fast as 8-10 days for first contact to many months, depending upon lots of factors, i.e. type of application, time of year (if you apply during high study visa intake apps for visit, it will take longer vs towards end of the year) etc. The standard processing times though are listed on CIC website for each category of visa. Beyond that nothing can be said reliably.

Current time frame listed is 46 days. In the past i have gone this as high as 70~ days approx too. Plus there always would be cases where it takes longer.

But in general you should hear back in under 40 days. Any thing sooner is being a bit lucky (or unlucky if its a refusal).

Online application should take a week or so less in general as compared to one submitted at VAC may be.

I submitted mine at Singapore VAC on 11th March.....here the time is 22 days but Since I am Pakistani so I guess I will go through extra background checks......
Is it 46 Calendar days or working days.....

i have got a quick query about the EMERGENCY VISIT VISA TO CANADA from PAKISTAN..,.,!!

its been a 4 weeks now since waiting for my visa, the reason is my wife is pregnant with the due date of
20 may 2014 so i applied for visit visa from Karachi Pakistan. after she send me invitation with her Doctor letter
and mansion that she is Canadian citizen and working women but here is no buddy available for take care because her mother is also working women and she desperately needs her husband for her critical condition with pregnancy which is due anyhow
and she already applied spouse immigration in 2013 August, but the immigration process is in the Que but now she having a baby situation in this month.

so dear sir im still waiting for my decision but i cant wait in this condition pls help me and tell me if is there any
other way to make it quicker than normal application or like weekly visa decision supervise

Hi everybody,
after loading the VALIDATED online form IMM5257 an error message appears: document contains invalid data. There is no way how to make it better...we checked three times, validated all the time but there is no Barcode generated, tried to upload several times. Have you any suggestions what to change or improve??? I am really sick from that tricky system...I can not generate the Barcode after validation...... I have updated my JAVA and Enable Java en ADOBE and used all browsers and different computers............ PLZ HELPPPPPP !!!!!

Did you put in any wrong date for e.g. job start date which is earlier that the day you are filling the form? It should at least be the date on which you are filling form. It would fail to generate a valid bar code.

Dear All,

This is in reference to application of Temporary Resident visa for mother (trying for 10 years multiple entry from Pakistan). My sister is in Canada with her husband who is earning good. She is inviting our mother.

1. Her invitation letter specifies that they would support mother during her stay. Is is ok?

2. Also we are about to show her bank statement. The bank statement would be about cad 3K to 4K. My mother also has National Savings Center Certificates NSC s in her name. Are they supportive to show funds to stay in Canada.

3. The forms ask about the period of stay in Canada. How much should I mention. Her plans are flexible and she only needs access to Canada as we are going to apply for her sponsorship.

4. How much money we should show.

5. What should be the purpose of her visit. My sisters invitation letter shows that she intends to apply for a job and her son (infant) needs care at the time when she is out.

There is a lot of confusion regarding super visa/sponsorship/trv.
