Dear All,
We are three members planning to visit Canada to meet family relatives (Me, My wife and my 2 years kid). Problem is as per the instruction every one, who is going to visit, has to fill the the form IMM5257E and mandatory requirement is that this form should be validated that meand Bar Code should appear in the end of the form.
Requirement given on website is as follows to fill the application form IMM5257E in bold
This form must be validated, dated and signed. Applications without a barcode validation will no longer be accepted and instead will be returned to applicants.
•Each person travelling, including children, must complete a separate application form.
•Make sure you include your mailing and residential addresses, a reliable phone number and email address (if you agree to email communications).

- Now issue is if i fill a IMM5257E form for my 2 year Kid, i cannot fill any thing in the sections of "Education" and "Employment". as I dont fill these section I am not able to do validate in the end and since I am not able to validate in the end that Bar Code wont appear on the application form which is a manadatory requirement, what should I do?
Another question, since I am a principal applicant so I am showing funds in question no 3 of the section "Details of Visit of Canada". But what should i fill in the same section when i fill a IMM5257E form for my wife and my kid, do I need to put the same amount again? as they are going with me.
Currently, where I am resident is Canada embassy is not available. I have to apply through courier to other country. Considerign this scenario what should I write in the IMM5257E form, question 9 of the section "Personal Details".
My last question do we (me and my wife) need to put all details of my family seperately regarding siblings and parents in a form IMM5645E. As i dont remember the actual date, Can i put just year of birth?
a) Write "not applicable" and where you must need to put a date, use the current day that you are filling the form on.smimran said:

c) You should still write your current residential address. Email phone etc. would help with usual communication with CIC.
d) Yes each and every one of you have to put family details. Probably it is okay to put year, but this is just an opinion, not a CIC instruction. Where you look for years usually one can find family's bay forms or other similar things.

I have a question about the validity of the passport. I am planning for TRV (multiple) for my mother for 10 years. But her passport is valid for 5 years (about to expire in 2018). Therefore, i know that i would at most be given a 5 year multiple TRV.
So I want to go to the passport office and change her passport to 10 years and then apply.
I want to know, how do they calculate how much money is required for the stay (multiple) i.e. how much should i show. I plan to indicate one month of stay this year. But it is a multiple entry visa so how will i tell them about the funds and period of stay.
I am planning to show CAD 3000 for one month of stay. I have an invitation letter by my sister in Canada and her husband who have committed to provide all financial support (on an affidavit). This is the third time i am applying (she has obtained TRV twice before and went to canada and returned within the stipulated time).
Is this all ok?

AOA all . I need some information I have to travel on 20th of june but submitted my application online today and I will give my biometrics tommorw can I get visa early or not possible as the visa processing times says 47 days .did any body got visa in early days then mention?kindly share with me thank you.I got mail for biometrics same time I sent my application and my application number was also issued

Occasionally, people do get visas faster. It really depends upon a candidate's profile (clear cut case - ease with security checks etc.) as well as the fact that how occupied the embassy currently is. However, it is not very likely. Still if you have a strong profile and have a real practical reason for travelling on the given date (saying i have to travel is of almost no value), may be emailing embassy after say 10 days with evidence (say if you intend to attend a conference - a request letter from the institution to process it faster) might help. But there should still be around 20 days left when you email any such thing. Otherwise it is probably of no use.
Super visa is issued for 2 years at one time and renewable up to 10 years. That is what i know. So i don't thing having a 10 year validity passport is of any importance in this case. Some countries don't even issue passport for that long a time.Ray_Of_Hope said:
The amount needed for stay is for the first planned visit only. You can only foresee future to a limit. 3k is more than enough for a month. However, you need to buy insurance for her. Probably getting that and including with application is a better idea. I have heard of others doing it.

Thank you very much for your response .acutely I never wanted to apply to Canada because I was already refused 3 times before inspite very good travel history good financed etc and some valid visa on my passports of Europe my niece in Canada wanted to invite me on her graduation convocation I really don't want to spoil my passport travel history ahahaha .And my real brother sent me sponsor he is citizen of Canada but this time I am happy we do not have to submit original passport because if they take time I can still have my passport in my hands and I can travel to china for my business purpose which is already planned. I think if they really see the form and attached documents they cant reject me I was traveling Europe when I was young and unmarried at that time and I come back intime now I am merried with three daughters of ages 9.8.3 .but this is last time after this will not apply if not get visa ahahahahahah
