Which province in Canada should I choose for a MBA?

Hi,
I have completed my BBA and have been working in an advertising firm in Dhaka since 2012. I would like to go to Canada for my MBA. So I need the following information?

1. Which province and which university (affordable & reputed) should I choose to get a part time job easily?
2. Which province will have the flexible rules for PR applicant?

That's very good to know. I have 50k+ BDT now and for last 1 month the balance was more than 30k BDT. On an average it ranges from 5k to 15k for last 6 months, sometime even better than than.

Thank you so much for sharing this information, I was actually worried regarding the amount in my personal a/c. Thanks again @ dipta.

I was talking about cad not BDT.But if your FDR is good then no problem. Do you have funding from the varsity?

1. For part time all provinces are pretty same but Alberta,Toronto and Calgary is mentionable. I think part time will not cover MBA. U of S, MUN, O of Con are affordable and also reputed. You can go to colleges for lower fees but in those cases it won't be much reputed.

2.As of now Quebec has the most flexible rules if you are willing to learn french. other than that most provinces will take time and permanent job.

this is my opinion others can defer it.

Dear Dipta,

Thank you very much for your quick and kind reply.

Hello,

I have a couple of unusual questions regarding the visa

1. Can I appoint someone else to apply on my behalf in case I am out of the country? I can later go for medical tests but can someone else (sister) submit the application in vfs?

2. If I get student visa to study in one university, what needs to be done if I want to shift to another university? Do I need to reapply? And how long does the transfer take

I appreciate any help regarding this matter

No. You have to sign papers at VFS.

You don't have to reapply. You have to consult with the universities involved.

I appreciate any help regarding this matter

Lol... As far it was a Bangladeshi students thread, thats why I thought u r from Bangladesh too..

Anyways, Windsor & Lakehead uni both r mid-level uni. U have to achieve at least CGPA 3.0 in ur undergrad & IELTS 6.5 for securing a position in those uni. Total processing time took around 4 months.

Both of these Universities require 4 months? Bcoz the reply i got from Windsor is that they will process the application. however, since their program is full, that is why they will put me in wait list. There are chances that i might get in sept./oct Intake.. On the other hand, Lakehead just replied me that you may apply. However, Im still waiting for their complete reply. Im willing to enter for the sept. intake.

Usually people write about one year.

rizwan, windsor's admin is pretty lethargic.... so you need to follow up rigorously otherwise they will take ages...

are you from pakistan? if so, then are you sure you have sufficient time for sept. intake?

lakehead is quite fast ...

what's your profile and prospective program to be admitted?

Thanks for the reply

Let me elaborate a little. I got into both university of calgary and ubc. I intend to go to ubc but the fund requirement for the visa is too high. I can meet the fund requirement for calgary. Is it wise to get the calgary study permit and then shift? And do the visa specify where I can study? Plus, what exactly do I tell the universities when I shift?

Thanks

4 months is the upper limit. It should be less than 4 months, mostly depend on ur education background and other strengths.

If u want to go for Fall,13 than I think u r late. Because as far I know from Pakistan it took around 3 months to get visa, where u didn't get acceptance yet. So, better u make ur target for Winter, 14 (January Session).
