I am looking at everyones time line, and it says that medical test was requested. After the medical was done passport was requested, but passport was requested after 2-3 weeks, i got my email saying to give the passport with the medical. Did you guys get another email for passport request.

Some gets passport request with medical and some gets it afterwards. I got mine afterwards.

In the checklist they wanted a custodian declaration for students under 19 for newfoundland.I will be 18 before sept.I asked vfs about it n they said not required.

Now what should i do.

Yeah sure you can apply at high commission of Canada in Australia. But if i am not wrong you are coming to Bangladesh soon and want to apply before that? If that is the case then apply online.

If I get a student visa (Graduate level) then how to obtain a off work permit? When should I apply for it? I saw in cic.ga.ca that, I need to wait for 6 months out of 12 months to obtain a off campus work permit. That means for first 6 months I will just study without any work? Now I am really confused because if I don't work for 6 months then how will I adjust my expenses in Canada?

Those who are already Canada please help me, share your experience so that I can plan things properly. I really need to arrange some work whenever I reach there. Please share your experience with me...

If u r a self-funded student, then u have to bring atleast first 6 months living expense with u. Which will be given by ur sponsor who is committed to do that. Beside u have to remember, its not possible to earn tuition + living cost at the same time. Most of the students work off-campus after 6 months when get their work permit and they only can mange their living expense. Without funding tuition + living expense earning is not possible at all.

Yes I know. I have scholarship still I was thinking whether it's possible to work off campus from the beginning. If there are no such arrangements then I can bear my 6 months expenses.

You can work but on campus if available. From January OCWP will not be needed according the new law imposed.

It will be advisable to apply at the home consulate, which for Bangladeshis is the CHC in Singapore.

Yes they will ask for it at a later stage of the application.

Since you are not funded, there is a chance that UofC might inform CIC about it. And if CIC figures out you are going to a university which costs more than you showed then it might be a problem for you.
