Hi !! Bro, Nice to know that you have got admission in these universities. Im also going to apply in Windsor and Lakehead University for the MBA.. For Windsor, i came to know that they can give admission even if your GPA is low but i want to ask that is this the case in the LakeHead also.. Im waiting for my results and im not sure whether I will get good GPA or not .. But it will be around (2.70 - 3) out of 4 .. Kindly please let me know about this. and also please let me know how many days it took for the admission process.. I will really appreciate if you can provide me info about these things.. Thanks

আমি উন্ডসর ইউনির জন্য এপ্লাই করেছিলাম কিন্তু ওরা এখন পর্যন্ত আমার এপ্লিকেশন ঝুলিয়ে রেখেছে। এদিকে আমি মেমোরিয়াল ইউনি থেকে ফান্ডিং সহ অফার পাওয়ায় উইন্ডসর নিয়ে আর চেষ্টা করিনি। যতটুকু অভিজ্ঞতা হয়েছে তাতে বলতে পারি, উইন্ডসর ইউনির বাংলাদেশি এজেন্ট CUAC ছাড়া নিজে নিজে এপ্লাই করলে আপনি ওদের এক্সেপ্টেন্স পাবেন না।

অন্যদিকে লেকহেড ইউনিতে ওদের ফান্ডিয়ের সঙ্কট চলছে, আমাকে ফান্ড দেবার কথা বলেও পরে আর দেয়নি। তবে লেকহেড উইনিতে চান্স পাওয়া তুলনামূলকভাবে সহজ। কারন, আমি ডিসেম্বর মাসে এপ্লাই করে, জানুয়ারী মাসের শেষ সপ্তাহেই এক্সেপ্টেন্স পেয়ে গেছি।

সব ভার্সিটিই মিনিমাম CGPA 3.0 ওপরে চায়। এর নিচে রেজাল্ট হলে চান্স পাওয়া মুশকিল হবে। সাথে লাগবে IELTS 6.5 মিনিমাম। ভার্সিটিতে পেপারস্ জমা দেয়ার পর থেকে এক্সেপ্টেন্স লেটার হাতে পাওয়া পর্যন্ত সাধারনত ৪ মাস সময় লাগে।

প্রচুর বাংলাদেশী যাচ্ছে উইন্ডসর ইউনিতে পড়তে। তবে ওদের ব্যাবসায়ী মনোভাব আমার ভাল লাগে নাই।

According to CIC website, they ask for a small description. Put your designation that goes with your employment certificate. And then put whatever that describes what you do. The field has enough space a for a tiny description.

Kindly lemme know what is this point mean in the check list "Proof of immigration status in the country in which you are currently residing". I am a Bangladeshi and living in Bangladesh. I have no such experience of living in any foreign country for more than 6 months in last 5 years. I need to know what sort of document do I need to submit for this. Appreciate if you can let me know.

Lol... As far it was a Bangladeshi students thread, thats why I thought u r from Bangladesh too..

Anyways, Windsor & Lakehead uni both r mid-level uni. U have to achieve at least CGPA 3.0 in ur undergrad & IELTS 6.5 for securing a position in those uni. Total processing time took around 4 months.

You can show both that is totally your opinion. If you have constant income in account showing land is not that necessary.
This is my opinion.

Actually I am showing my personal a/c which has very less transaction and very less money. I cant show my office a/c as it has a loan transaction every month, but has good constant income.

I am actually depending on my FDR (Liquid Money) and Land property (Fixed asset & also ties to own country). I haven't put the FDR money to my personal a/c, rather I make FDR. If you have any suggestion you can kindly let me know.

That's very good to know. I have 50k+ BDT now and for last 1 month the balance was more than 30k BDT. On an average it ranges from 5k to 15k for last 6 months, sometime even better than than.
