you are fsw while we are qsw, the processing of your application is different from ours. in your case they do security after medical so it will take a while . once they add a line 3- we start processing your application on ----- then you can expect email for passport submission

Thank you for your reply, i checked my statue online, it is Application Received, and about the office, they didnt mention any visa office,but they say, if we need any documents we will provide you by the address where you can send to us the documents.
it is strange if you tell me they should mention the visa office,and they didnt mention anything.is it new process?

Thank you for your answer, and yes you are right,they notifyed me that they received the application,but without any extra information than what i mentioned, just my application number.
if in Amman or Bucharest, both they need 47 months to finish.
so One year until i get the visa? what if i get married and me and my wife couldnt reach 63 points? they will refuse us?

Do you mean that the email you received is the one with the file number from the centralized intake office in sydney? Maybe you will receive another email later when something is needed from you like the medicals or any missing documents. Your file could be in Bucharest or another office. if it is in bucharest I don't think it is going to take you a long time to become in process. They reached mid 2013 so your turn may be soon.

I don't know how they are going to re-evaluate your file if you get married now. They changed the evaluation system after we applied a few years ago. Just keep in mind that your marriage may affect your file positively or negatively according to your wife's qualifications. Your wife will need to get a csq and may be required to do an interview which will take you much longer time. I think you should check with an expert and get a proper evaluation of your file if you get married. If you find that your marriage will cause you problems I suggest that you just do a "sheikh contract" for now and delay the court contract until you land in Canada and get the PR then apply for your wife from there to join you.

I agree with mike that the email you received is the file number email for federal part . regarding time I estimate you will receive medical after one year . to avoid any delays apply for your wife after you get permanent residence but you should know the there are conditions that you should satisfy like job and income in Canada and will take minimum 2 years . if you are not on hurry then you can inform them now and I think it will give you more points for age and education .

Syrian passports can not be signed manually, for children signature is empty. it is stated clearly on the passport, any scratch or scribble would illegalize the passport as a legitimate document!

signature in passport is legal and it is not scratch or scribble my friend. this answer is by Canadian embassy officer also if signing passport is scratch or scribble then you need to change your passport also . any way I am trying to share info from Canadian embassy in amman

Thank you very much dear mft for sharing this info. However, there is nothing we can do regarding the Syrian passports. The passport cannot be signed and we should inform the embassy about this and I hope they will understand. I tried my best to get a specific answer regarding this issue and was told that the father cannot sign on his children's behalf. In my opinion, the embassy or even the Canadian authorities cannot tell you what to do when the issue is related to the regulations of the issuing authorities of your passport. Let's hope this won't cause us problems when applying for the visa.

I agree with you regarding this point that each passport country has it own regulations . I think not signing your children will not make any problem. I hope if any one applied for visa before face any problem in this regard share his experience with us
I would like to add one more point if you sign your child passport and you face any problem you can simply ask for new one and ask Canadian embassy to transfer visa to new one and pay 30 $
