I moved within Canada back in March and ECAS never updated, however GCMS notes show the correct address. Good old ECAS - can't trust it.

You may have more luck with your employer... Have you tried asking them to reduce the notice period? It's not uncommon, particularly with the longer notice periods, and one extra week out of 3 months would seem reasonable.

Try not to stress too much. I see you only had sponsor approval a couple of weeks ago! Bit of long wait ahead, so if you worry about every holiday/slowdown you'll go a bit crazy. Been there done that!

That's not such bad advice... Applications around me were approved in November, yet here I am still waiting 6 months later. No issues, queries, just luck of the draw. I hope this doesn't happen to you, but you never know so be cautious!

Hello all - I haven't been following this thread, but popped back to give an update as I finally have some progress. Application in process as of 1st of May (in spreadsheet as mec). That took a while!

Good news!!! ECAS updated today. My application is 'In Process' as of 1st May... coincidentally the same day as I received a response from my MP ;) So happy!
