Okay update.... They have my application in the system, and sent my sponsor a letter in the post a couple of days ago. Annoying! We included her email address on the forms. I have a UCI from my work permit application, which they tell me carries through, but nothing coming up in ECAS...

The just updated the site. Processing time 34 days, working on applications from the 27th. Lies!!! I don't buy it! Now my turn to call.

They only update the website once a week... it seems like the processing time has now slipped to 39 days, and that should be reflected tomorrow. As I understand the value quoted on the website should approximate the total time to processes applications (rather than just start them).

Another vote for this tactic! They received mine on 24th and I'm going slightly crazy watching the processing time tick up just when I expected mine to be done. I know a few days isn't a big deal in the grand scheme of things... but I'll feel better knowing that I didn't forget anything/make...
