On the same boat. No update on my medicals that were done 6 March, and the doctor's office said they were submitted. I uploaded a confirmation they gave me on the Webform just in case, but I'm thinking they are having delays now with updating the system. :(

Yeah just noticed that as well (unable to open links on CIC login). Hope that's the reason they haven't updated the medical results yet. It's been 8 days since it was completed but nothing has changed online.

Decision not made yet, but Sponsorship was approved within 60 days. Just did the medicals and they're apparently doing the background check as well.

I don't think it matters. I had known my wife for only 2 years and we applied right after marriage, and the application was approved pretty quickly and is moving along well. As long as you can show the seriousness of the relationships, it doesn't matter if you apply right after marriage or not.

I mean based on the other threads I didn't expect to see medical request until late in the process, but I guess many of us were lucky to get them quick, provided it doesn't take over a year to process everything else. Won't be happy if I have to throw money away for another medical.

Phew, finally caught up to all the messages lol. My wife did her medical just last Wednesday and still nothing shows passed or received. Hopefully it doesn't take much longer. We were delayed as we planned a vacation that fell right during the request. Wasn't expecting everything to move so fast.

Yes they can if you don't make enough money to pay for it. A loan is something you pay back, so there is no restriction to get one once someone is a PR.

He doesn't need them. They are yours to keep. If you don't move back you will lose status anyway and Immigration can check that for him. Don't give them to him.
