You're probably lucky since you got transferred to Mississauga. But now you wait until they either ask you for more documents, or they approve it if nothing else is needed. You still got time.

Dec 2018 applicant. Just got an e-mail from the visa office asking for proof of return to Canada by e-mail. I was sure I sent it through webform when I moved, but I guess they never got anything. Hoping this is the last of documents I have to send, but it's looking good I think.

You can sponsor, but you will need to move back to Canada before it gets approved, i.e. if you're going to be working outside of Canada for 6 years, then you may as well wait until you're almost finished with your job before you apply to sponsor her.

I knew I was doing something right when I decided to buy a house in Ottawa and not in Gatineau before moving back to Canada. This is insane and so unfair for so many people waiting to move their families. :mad::mad:

Yeah they asked for a new Schedule A, and were specific about activities since the time we had sent ours before, meaning they wanted to know what she has been up to I assume.

Was it because there were gaps on the original one you sent? For ours there were no gaps, but they wanted to see the activity from right before we sent the application until now basically. Our 1 year is up in 3 months, so I'm hoping it's the final phase as was mentioned.. a long silence after...

Did anybody else received a request for an updated Schedule A? We submitted one on the original application, but they just asked us for details of my wife's activity after the application was sent. Hoping that's a good sign.

PA is from Mexico, but even though we're lucky that she can be in Canada "visiting" me temporarily, we just want to get it over with :confused: How about for you, where is PA from?

You can get a temp passport while you wait for the certificate. You need proof of travel. I got my daughter's passport this way.

Yes, wait for them to ask for the Police Certificate before trying to get one and follow the directions on the letter.

I got the letter in one day after I requested it from the Embassy. They won't get it done without the letter, aid it will only be valid for 30 days, so no point in getting them ahead of time.

We've been waiting two weeks as well. Hoping they do it by batches and we get them today. Not that I'm in a rush I just want to make sure they got it lol.
