Any PRs from visa exempt countries - were you asked for PR card when flying?

Yes - I had a valid ITA - I was asked for my PR card (both times it was more along the lines of....... er do you have a work permit or something for Canada?). I spoke to another Aussie yesterday, she is currently stuck in the states - Air Canada won't let her travel without PR card. Looks like...

My partner is a Canadian but my IEC is running out soon.

Damn, if you had submitted the application prior to March 2015 you could go one more. Things to consider when looking at spousal sponsorship - clean aussie outland applications are being turned around in about 3 months at the moment. Might be worth weighing up if going outland will be quicker...

Do I need a new PCC?

Yes - you need a letter issued stating that you never held a licence.

Do I need a new PCC?

I'm sure you have seen before - if you lived in QLD or Victoria during your stay in Australia, you will also need a traffic check. Just pointing that out as quite a few people have been caught out by it.

My partner is a Canadian but my IEC is running out soon.

When did you apply for your IEC permit? And how old are you? You may qualify for one last IEC permit.

    Urgent: Documents for Landing

I was CEC so proof of funds was not a requirement, I know that they can potentially ask for that if you are FSW. The rest you shouldn't need, only the COPR. To be honest, I took everything with me just in case, better to be over prepared than under (the border is a 4 hour drive for me...

MEDICALS RELATED. PLEASE HELP. WHEN TO SUBMIT?

I would say that booking an appointment sooner then later is best - we had a case where my partner had to go and get a retest on one of his results (took about a week). Maybe call the office where you plan on getting the medical and see how far in advance they are currently booking also, they...

is it ok to travel on Implied status

Huh, what a unique case. I think I would weigh up the cost of your flights home vs the cost difference on your medical procedure. Also something to consider could be the difference in time submitting - I wonder if the medical processing at home will be as quick to send off to CIC. Couple of...

You are fine - you are working in security, not healthcare.

My IEC work-holiday visa expires soon. Have you renewed before????

Originally that was the case - they updated to clarify as they changed the requirements in March 2015 so people were saying it was unfair. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/temp/work/opinion/experience/bilat.asp Under the program requirements section in the blue box.

Post ITA - 60 days for what?

Still so very wrong. If you are going to make claims like this, please provide a source. There is no profile wipe at 60 days. You have the full 90 days to submit. Stop spreading mis-information.

Post ITA - 60 days for what?

Please be better informed and stop spreading incorrect information. You have 90 days from that date to submit. Your profile will not be wiped after 60 days. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/invitations.asp Note: You now have 90 days to finish your online application for...

ITA timeline 60 or 90 days

It doesn't. Can you imagine the uproar if you lost your entire profile over halfway through? No idea why that guy even made the statement, he hasn't applied before and made a very wrong comment there. His down votes are -74 so I think perhaps he is known for bad information.

Post ITA - 60 days for what?

No, that means that you didn't submit in time for the old system and your ITA expired. You would need to wait for the next round of invites. Now with the new timing, there are conflicting timelines on the profiles (one section shows the old version, one the new). You absolutely have 90 days to...

ITA declined due to NOC mismatch. Advise new EE profile or current EE modified

If you have a score above the cut off and an active profile, you will get an invite.

ITA declined due to NOC mismatch. Advise new EE profile or current EE modified

If it doesnt change your points in the system, there was no need to withdraw - you could have updated in the system before submitting. Update your NOC in your current profile, it is easier than starting again.

Got an ITA when I did not expect it, now I don't know if I have time to prepare

You will only need to send your passport when you are approved at the end and you will be able to swap and send it to the consulate where you are at the time. 90 days should be plenty of time to complete the application.

My major and work experience is different... Any problem when I apply for PR?

I have an aviation degree and was approved in PR as an HR professional in a totally unrelated industry. Education does not have to match unless it is a regulated industry (i.e. doctor, lawyer).
