The proof of funds theory is not correct. I put PoF as 0 in my prpfile, still the system qualified me for both and I got ITA under FSW.

Applies to me too. I got FSW as well. I don't think it is possible for anyone to have score between 481 to 600 and at the same time be eligible for CEC only.

To say the same thing in another way, CEC applicants are being moved to FSW in order to save CEC vacancies.

My idea is that all of us with scores less than 600 (Without LMIA supported job offer) got ITA under FSW. Anybody scoring 481 and above without LMIA and job offer would qualify for both, FSW and CEC. And in this situation, the system picks the default option which is FSW.

Yeah I think that makes sense. Besides I think its gonna take me a couple of weeks to get the required documents in order anyways. you never know, they might revise my ITA anyways, like they did for other ITAs before. I'll submit my application and send a case specific enquiry after that aswell

Something interesting has happened.....I updated my profile while filling the forms after ITA.......entered everything as before.....now my personalized document checklist does not say that I have to show Proof of Funds. Is it because I entered the available funds as 0?

Hi fkl, Thank you for your input which is useful as always. Now, problem is, I have also seen someone here on the forum who said he's got 500+ points and he got ITA under CEC. This, to me is quite confusing, reason being, if you get 500+ points, theres no way someone would qualify only for CEC...

Hi Katja, I think yes, parents can make donations and it will be accepted. As for myself, I think I am going to decline my invitation and wait for a CEC specific draw.

I am currently working in Canada but then the problem is that my job is LMIA exempt. So its not exactly 'arranged' employment as per definition.

Yeah there is no doubt POF is a must for FSW. But this is whats annoying me. Throughout my applicatuon, I have maintained that I do not have sufficient funds. In this case, shouldn't the system automatucally revert to CEC for me? Should I refuse the ITA?

Guys, most of us got invited under FSW yesterday. My question is, how do you plan to address the proof of fund requirement? this of course applies to people like me who do not have enough funds and were counting on CEC?
