ATTN 5th Draw Candidates with Less than 600 Points

ATTN 5th Draw Candidates with Less than 600 Points

To add to that, regarding PoF, I have only reported what I realistically have. In my updated profule, I have entered $1000 since that is the minimum average balance in my account that is always available. So im not misrepresenting anything.

ATTN 5th Draw Candidates with Less than 600 Points

BTW, CIC has informed applicants that if one qualifies for FSW and CEC, the system sends ITA for FSW by default.

ATTN 5th Draw Candidates with Less than 600 Points

Whatever you have explained about my application is absolutely correct. After declining the ITA, I just changed my answer to THAT question to NO. That was the only change that I made and now I'm eligible for CEC only.

ATTN 5th Draw Candidates with Less than 600 Points

Have you checked the link provided above? Isn't the instruction quite clear from that? I mean how can there be doubt after reading those clear cut instructions? About working in Canada, your work history will show you are currently working in Canada. And if you have enough fund anyways, then...

Lolz thnx! Yeah, why I felt really bad, but hey, you never know, we might get ITA tomorrow. Better to wait now rather than having to re-submit the whole application again.

ATTN 5th Draw Candidates with Less than 600 Points

Well, essentially it says LMIA is required! Anyhow, I have rejected my ITA, revised my profile, said no to job offer and put my funds as $1000. And now I qualify for CEC only.

ATTN 5th Draw Candidates with Less than 600 Points

That's what I am trying to explain. The only way to qualify for FSW without minimum funds is if you have a VALID job offer, a valid job offer means LMIA based job offer. I mentioned in my profile that I have 0 funds, I have a job offer AND its NOT supported by LMIA. So, technically, the system...

ATTN 5th Draw Candidates with Less than 600 Points

To reply to point a), I said Yes to job offer, no to LMIA, funds = 0. qualified for both FSW and CEC. Got ITA under FSW. People simply change the job offer to NO, rest of the details the same, got eligibility only for CEC.

Its a good thing too. If you have that much funds, you should be fine with either FSW or CEC.

ATTN 5th Draw Candidates with Less than 600 Points

Did you enter high enough funds? If yes, then you would qualify for FSW. Yes I have emailed CIC, they replied that the information has been forwarded to the concerned department and that they would contact me only if further info is required. My hunch is they would revise my ITA.

I think so yes. Try that and let us know if it works.

ATTN 5th Draw Candidates with Less than 600 Points

Yes, if you got ITA under FSW. If you had answered NO to job offer, the system would have qualified you only for CEC. The problem lies in the fact that EE profile asks separate questions about Job offer and LMIA. That's why so many people, including me, have made that mistake. Otherwise, we...

ATTN 5th Draw Candidates with Less than 600 Points

Guys, for those who received ITA under FSW with less than 600 points and who qualified for both CEC and FSW, please double check that you have indeed qualified for FSW. If not, I would recommend sending CIC an email asking to clarify the situation. Specifically, the confusion arises at the...

5h Draw - Candidates who got ITA for CEC

Actually, when you put PoF to 0, the document checklist after ITA does not ask for PoF. But we knwo FSW has PoF as a requriement. So, I'm worried I'll run into problems later in my application, once it comes to PoF requirement stage.

5h Draw - Candidates who got ITA for CEC

You are right. I put my funds as 0, and to the job offer details, I said NO its not supported by LMIA. So technically, I qualified for CEC only, not FSW. But the ITA I received was for FSW. I have sent a case specific enquiry to CIC, lets see what happens. I would strongly encourage other people...

5h Draw - Candidates who got ITA for CEC

Actually, that is a good news in the sense that we now know how to qualify only for CEC. The questions in EE simply asks if you have a job offer, and then asks separately about LMIA. It does not ask if you have a VALID job offer, as in supported by LMIA. I didn't know about the FAQ answer...
