they lock the date your application is received even if they don't open it. if they receive it on march 26 and open it in october, you'll be fine. if they receive it on march 28 and open it on march 29, you won't pass eligibility and your application will be refused.

I've seen people in process when their criminality is not passed.

In progress isn't the same as in process. Your application is in progress from the time you get AOR until they make a decision. In process is when an officer is reviewing your documents to see if you get PR. In process is what you want. It tells you you are in the last step and about to get PPR.

If you lived in Canada for the last 2 years, they will extend your medicals for 3 months. I've seen they extended people's medical's for 6 months. But that's mostly special occasions. Usually, it's just 3 months.

Notes are 1 month old usually by the time you receive them. I did send emails saying I wanted to add my wife but it wasn't until July when they requested documents for her. The new lock-in date is the date they requested medicals for my wife. Request new notes and see what they say.
