Only the University can tell you that. My University doesn't have any deferral policy whatsoever. Yet, they made an exception for me. Goodluck

As far as I know, South Asia and Middle East country applicants would have troubles for this method. I have seen cases being successful for other applicants eg: Europeans, South Americans etc
