Eligibility: Passed vs. Eligibility: Met in GCMS Notes

Since there is a huge thread on gcms notes, you might be better off asking your question there: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/understanding-gcms-notes-t366708.0.html All the best!

Timeline for CSE to respond for cancelled application

From what I remember seeing on the forum from others who raised CSE, most seem to wait at least 3-4 weeks for a reply. I hope you are aware that applications are usually only reopened if the mistake was on the part of IRCC and not on your part. In that case, your chances of having your...

Differences between INLAND and OUTLAND application

The overall process is the same, yes. Inland applicants are however usually processed through Ottawa whereas outland applicants are often processed by a local VO, which in some cases can either have a positive or negative effect on processing times, depending on VO. At least thats my impression...

Landing in Toronto - Etobicoke office

Thanks for sharing your experience. Since most people choose to go to the border for landing, it is nice to have an account of what it is like to land at a CIC Office. Hopefully, others can get some useful information out of it. Congratulations to PR! :)

    CELPIP query

If you feel donfident that you could easily improve on that score, then I would give it a try. The way things are currently going, 465 is definitely a much better position to be in than 457. All the best for the exam!

    Immigration to Canada

Yeah, each category is counted individually. Overall combined score doesnt matter. Thats why all the tables in both links I posted show each category separately as well and dont show overall scores.

    Immigration to Canada

In CLB system that makes: 7/9/9/9 In language score: 4+6+6+6 = 22

    Immigration to Canada

Keep in mind that you not only have to have the 67 points, but you also need to meet the funds requirement and all other EE requirements. Maybe you just entered something wrong. Always worth rechecking as your other information all sounds like it should be just fine. Do you already have your...

Does work experience BEFORE GRADUATION adds points?

The previous quote from IRCC only applied to self-employment. If you have two years experience in Canada, sure, you can use that to claim points as well as long as you have the proper documentation for it.

LMIA >>>> CEC or FSW Inland?

It is only necessary to claim your highest degree for points. So if his highest wualification were to be a masters degree for example and that is in canada then he doesnt need to provide any proof for the foreign degree as the points would be based on his canadian masters degree only.

Should take a Celpip or IELTS next time?

I know that when it comes to writing, they care that you have a proper structure with paragraphs, use good connectors to connect your sentences and have each paragraph cover a particular topic. Make sure that you cover each requirement. So if you have to write a letter which is supposed to...

    Updated Reference letter to CIC

If you have Canadian work experience, then you migth need to show T4s or income tax records but if you only claim foreign work experience, then income tax records are not needed.

LMIA >>>> CEC or FSW Inland?

Yes, thats true. C category jobs dont count for EE at all, so if he doesnt have a full year of employment in Canada or abroad then he is not eligible for EE at all, no matter what category. In that case, trying to get a job offer and work permit in Canada would actually be the only option so...

Should take a Celpip or IELTS next time?

If you have the chance to take CELPIP in Canada, I would go with that, as I took CELPIP myself and enjoyed the all computer format of the test. Managed to score 10-12 in all celpip categories so if you have any questions about the test, just let me know.

    snip missing document query

Does work experience BEFORE GRADUATION adds points?

Thats IRCC's take on self-employment: if the applicant is self-employed, articles of incorporation or other evidence of business ownership, evidence of self-employment income and documentation from third-party individuals indicating the service provided along with payment details (self-declared...

    Work exp for CEC EE

Yeah, thats what i meant. If you can only claim 1 year of canadian experience but you also have two more years of fireign exoerience you could pitentially add to that, you will have a lot more points in the end. So even if it might be some extra work to get the other employment letters, i think...
