Yeah, I know... I am in Canada right now, spending holidays with family and friends, and kinda tried to forget about the process for awhile, so I am sorry for the delay on seeing this message. No updates after I got to know that my application is in Mexico.
Hey, my wife doesn't live in Canada - we live in Brazil - and she was approved! We just sent some letters of intention, her parents wrote a letter too stating that we would move to Canada as soon as the process is finished. Being outside Canada is not an argument to reject you as a sponsor
My eCAS shows that they started working on my application on November 14th. Let's see how many months it will take for them to finish assessing my application. I am not hopefull though. It seems that the average time for this VO is close to the 12 month mark.
That's great... BGC and Eligibility appear as "in process" since September 21, and now my freaking file was transferred to Mexico VO on November 14th. After looking at other threads here, the file being transferred to Mexico was the last thing I wanted. It appears that they are working on...
Is it weird that my eligibility in GCKey started before AOR2 and VO transfer email? I thought that the VO where the application was going to be processed would be the one to perform the eligibility.
Hello there,
My case was trasferred on November 8th to Mexico VO, so I will start participating here with you guys.
Both eligibility and background check started two months before I got AOR2; now going on for almost 3 months.
Best luck for us all!
Finally IRCC replied saying that my process is in Mexico VO. Now it is just wait, wait, wait, wait... I don't think they're the fastest ones to process files
I don't see my process ending before January now heheheheheh
Don't ask me why... hahahaha.. I reaaally don't know. Regardless, now that my wife and I will be traveling to Canada, we can call IRCC and try to get more info about our process.
That is something that varies a lot! My BGC is ongoing now for roughly three months... it is performed by a third-part, and then after they complete the BGC they will forward it to IRCC who is going to decide whether the PA will pass it or not. There ppl whose BGC took like 3 weeks, and there...
It depends... there are some ppl here that waited a long time after receiving the pre-arrival services to get the PPR. Pre-arrival services indicates that you passed eligibility, and now I guess that there is just the BGC pending on your process :)
Lucky you hahahaha
I sent them lots of webforms and they won't tell me where my application is. They ask for the PA to be the representative of the Sponsor and when my wife sent a webform they asked her to be my representative. :D that's a joke!!!
I gave up on that, so when we are in Canada next...
Well, if you're concerned about how tiresome, stressfull and long this process can be, and is not attached to your prospective wife, why not search for a Canadian/PR instead? It does not seem - at least for me - that you are really interested on bringing her with you, because if I was in your...
Hey, there;
I did not understand: You are looking to find a spouse in Canada and then applying for sponsorship? How did you get the permanent residency? Is someone sponsoring you or it was through EE/PNP?
I assume that you are considering applying for an "in Canada class" application to...
