Hey! I have been away from here these days... heheheh good to hear that you got your PPR!! That's awesome!!! Congrats! My process is still ongoing, no updates since January. It will take the full 12 months, for sure... Mexico VO is sooooo slow!

I am on the same boat as you guys; June 27 2018 applicant, after AOR2 a couple months ago, complete silence. I know that there are many applicants from March 2018 who did not get PPR yet, so I would say that the process will take 12 months or more. Mexico VO is veeeeeery slow.

I think it is worth to try. I got to know that my application was in Mexico City through a webform :)

There is no logic on these things... I am in touch with a couple from Brazil and their process is already at the 12-month mark. I know that IRCC changed things a couple years ago. By then my application would have been processed in Sao Paulo, not in Mexico. Prepare for the 12 month mark and hope...

Not yet... I believe my process will reach the 12-month-mark as many others from Mexico VO... So hopefully within 3 months it will be done!

Mexico City VO should be the one causing that... o_Oo_O most part of the cases there are going past the 12 month period, and mine is there since November 2018

I see.. is the PA from Trinidad? Did they ask for an interview?

That is very annoying. But i think that if you guys got the pre-arrival it means that the PA passed the BGC, not necessarily the eligibility part of the process. The interview is for the latter, but after that is just PPR. The waiting and the lack of communication is what really bothers me in...

So you sent the application to Sydney, it was transferred to Mexico and now was transferred to Trinidad VO? I thought the process would be finished by Mexico VO who would send the PPR... BTW, can you share your timeline?

:( That's correct. My BGC and eligibility "started" 5 months ago, but highly doubt that this is correct since my application was transferred to Mexico in November 2018, and Sydney didn't perform eligibility checks as far I am concerned

Mexico VO is reaaally slow... so I am waiting to get my PPR somewhat close to the 12-month mark; then if I get it earlier, it will be a good surprise and if not, I was not expecting it anyway heheheehhe If you check the Mexico VO thread here, there are quite a few applications that are over or...

So, checking the immigration tracker it seems that Mexico VO is still working on applications from January 2018. I think we will be waiting probably close to the 12-month deadline, which means another 5 months for my application. Anyone that follows the whatsapp group has news about the Mexico...

Hopefully we will get some update soon...
